I just had Charlie go after Vido instead of saving the refinery for the first time. She wasn't thrilled, but Vido posed more of a threat....
plus I wanted a diff outcome to Zaeed's mission...
In fact... this run has Charlie strangely more renegade then I'd like....

I am currently running a Paragade Shep and part of his RP is a very severe and vocal dislike of Cerberus...as you can imagine this causes some altercations between him and Miranda...Though I have never been a fan of Miranda's I am feeling like a complete b*tch....my Paragade Shep doesn't encourage her to speak with her sister (he did Miranda's LM for Oriana, not Miranda)...I swear Mark Meer has VA'ed Sheps response absolutely perfectly with this instance, you can hear the catch in his voice when he says "Okay, lets go then"...like Shep knows better, but chooses not to say anything....and the look on Miranda's face just breaks me, she looks so deeply sad...but RP is RP, I don't want to break it...but DAMN! I feel like a proper b*tch.......I have given him a reason for not encouraging it...he see's how messed up Miranda is and feels Oriana is best off without Miranda in her life...but Wow! I feel shocking...
Hmm, just reload that particular savegame. Actually, I don't believe a paragon Shep would hurt Miranda just because he dislikes Cerberus. After all: she's in his team. Yes, she might work for Cerberus - but she has orders from TIM to help Shepard on his mission. And since Shepard IS caring deeply for his crew (at least a paragon Shepard), he would try everything to keep them in mood.
So basically, it is still okay with your RP to allow Miranda to talk to her sister. It's not about Cerberus, but about Miranda and Oriana.

Definitely reload, imo

I kinda disagree on that one actually...as a Cerberus supporter, she is in fact aligning herself with Cerberus and so thus sanctioning their behaviour and activities....Plus I have RP'ed this Shep to start getting really pissy with her when she told him she had wanted to implant him with a control chip...he didn't take that well....Despite what I feel to be his justified anger though...two wrongs don't make a right...but it comes down to what do I go by, RP'ing his anger or caving because I feel like a real *ss because of the look on her face. Thats the hard part.Jenova65 wrote...
A paragade Shepard wouldn't have any trouble encouraging Miranda to talk to Oriana.... as CptData states this is about Miranda, not Cerberus and Shepard would treat her as a person not an organisation
Definitely reload, imo

Reload the save and help pull Miranda from TIM's clutches. You'll feel better for it.

I lean on the paragon/paragade scale in most plays.... and I always help out the squaddies, its just the best outcome for all
On the ship, I'm the nice gal... but I'm not above pushing mercs out windows or shooting gas tanks and turning krogan into crispy crunchy critters
Fits the trope beware the nice ones, eh?
