So, wait. Are you a bisexual physical female, or a physically male possible lesbian transwoman?I sympathise with your position, as I dig women too and secretly think I should have been a lesbian but having Liara and someone else is enough and then maybe Vega and Kaidan and that is cool. You don't need everyone to be bi, that is just silly.

I can say that some of you men hate lesbians for wanting to keep all the options to yourselves and throw us 'crumbs'.
Did you even read what I wrote? I play lesbian/bi femsheps all the time but wanting everyone to be bi or gay or lesbian is silly. As I said: Vega=gay, Kaidan=bi, Liara=bi, jack=bi, that is enough.

Well technically I am a straight male obsessed with boobs but obviously since lesbians love boobs too I can sympathise!

No one wants everyone to be gay or lesbian either....just open so those that play homosexual Shepard's have the same amount of choice that the heterosexuals get...is that hard to understand?
You capping my Shep's girly-lovin libido means you hate lesbians!

So you are advocating a DA2 style romance thing? everyone is theoretically bi if you want them to be?

Doesn't mean that you people haven't been whining for Jubileus knows how long. And if you consider sexual depravities of any sort taking precedence over the integrity of the story and its characters a victory, then go ahead.Xilizhra wrote...

Of course I am, because I don't agree with your disturbing philosophy of "everyone should be gay or bi". Might as well call me a "homophobe" or something similar again while you're at it.Oh, so you're simply insane. Fair enough.More unique than LIs everyone could romance, yeah.
I meant out of your total crew. Doesn't change how we shouldn't have these shallow romances instead of actual content to begin with, though.IsaacShep wrote...

It's far from 90%Did I lie about utter & unrealistic majority of his female subordinates being into him? Nope.
One case of unrealism doesn't mean that everything else should be unrealistic as well. Granted, that is the direction the series is going, but still. But that's not gonna happen in ME3 with straight romances, so why should only s/s romances suddenly be put through the 'realism filter'? I ain't compaigning for all bi (I know that ain't gonna happen anyway) but when I see someone try to quote realism as an argument against that when the existing straight ME romances throw realism into the bin when it comes to fanservicing straight players, I say "ohh hell no"Kaiser Shepard wrote...
but I agree that not everyone should be into Shep regardless of his actions and/or beliefs.
I think we all know that it won't be done in a good way.Precisely. But does that mean you've already played ME3 and know how they wrote the s/s romances with old characters and know that it wasn't written well? Think we all know the answer.Kaiser Shepard wrote...

Yes, I do advocate that.
It gives everyone choice and they don't have to worry about being stuck with 'that one bisexual LI' or nothing, especially considering that it's not difficult to write a romance and then fit it to the other gender (BW romances aren't all that gendered in the first place).
So, then why not? The LIs will already romance any PC regardless of their race, class, morality, prior decisions, etc. They are fully open in that regard. I think it's hypocritical to be okay with this type of openness (which is definitely not realistic) but not okay with the other.

While I think your glib 'throw the s/s crowd a bone' plan with Vega/Kaidan/Liara/Jack has good intentions and isn't malicious, it's not really something I think is likely. At all.
Bioware don't acknowledge Liara as a f/f option. There'd need to another character involved who isn't an asari before they'd call it a same-sex relationship.
I'd eat my hat (note: I don't think I own a hat) if Bioware made a genuinely gay squadmate who was only available to male characters. I'd eat four hats if this were Vega. 'Gay' characters, as opposed to ones available to both genders, just aren't economical.
Jack? If she appears in any significant capacity I don't think she'll be a romance option. Mac Walters has said only a few ME/ME2 characters will be - and the evidence points to them being the VS, rather than any ME2 ones.

Or maybe more. I really don't get why lesbians hate men so much. Oh well.
Why does it always have to be "hate"?
I don't hate men, I have to work with men in my professional life day in and day out. Hating men would make dealing with them on a daily basis very, very difficult, and even debilitating. I'm pretty sure that none of lesinas I know actually "hate" men.
On a personal level, I "dislike" the testosterone fueled macho-ism and subsequent attitude that the majority of men have (which is not their fault, that's the way nature made them). I like women, and I choose to accept my desires for what they are. That does not mean I "hate" men.

Obviously we can't have wholly gay characters because of resource shortfall. Beyond that, I believe in player choice, yes. And while it's true that not everyone who disagrees with this is homophobic, I grow increasingly strong in my belief that that category does not include you.Of course I am, because I don't agree with your disturbing philosophy of "everyone should be gay or bi". Might as well call me a "homophobe" or something similar again while you're at it.
