Hexes - Worth it on AW/BM?

 Is the hex line worth taking as a AW/BM mage? From my experience death hex is resisted by bosses and stronger enemies fairly often and doesn't even last very long if it makes it on.

Thoughts?

I have never have Death Hex resisted. Id say the spell is completly worth it, it increases your parties damage dramatically and will gaurentee that frozen enemies shatter. Its probably one of the best spells in the Entropy school.

I never had death hex resisted either, and this was on Hard mode.
I dumped all my stats into Magic and had over 100 by the end of the game.

Death Hex is a must-have if either you or another mage picks up Death Cloud.
The spell combination it produces is ridiculous.

The hex line is awesome support. Vuln hex can boost your own damage to respectable levels(Recommend using a staff and benefiting from it). Misdirection makes any physical mob nearly useless and death hex combine with some DW builds makes things die in seconds.

Combined with what's written above, I noticed that using Misdirection and Death Hex helps increase hate from the target a fair deal, allowing you to use your AW more for tanking, if you should want to do so (like I do).

Affliction Hex + Spell Wisp + Spell Might + Mana Clash = 1k damage to squishy mages

Hexes are fantastic.  They let your other spells stick, they help your melee do their job and they reduce the damage your party takes.  Win win win.

or 2k-3k depending on the boss mage :)
