Is there anyway I can put my Mass Effect game (Steam) into the Origins client?,
All my other Bioware games are on Origins, so it would be great if this can be arranged!
Thanks for answer // DL

eh? short answer is no, absolutely not, don't even try moving it or you'll corrupt it.
there is a way of detaching it as ME isn't a steam specific game, but that takes a bit of knowhow and even then i'm nearly 100% that you won't be able to then attach it to origin, you just won't need steam to run it.

Yes actually. You should be able to activate the ME1 key here: activate.ea.com/gameactivation.do to get it on Origin.
Input your key
Input your EA login
And that should be it
Restart Origin if it's already running and Mass Effect should be there.

Origin is a terrible program. Dont use it. It is basically legal spyware that lets EA know what you are doing on your PC when it is running.
