I recently purchased NWN 2 on Steam and I'm playing through the first campaign.  Camera and control issues aside I'm enjoying it!

Several weeks ago my wife and I talked to another couple about having a special "game day".  The plan is to enjoy a fun adventure during the day and then hit up a medieval-themed tavern/restaurant in the area for dinner.  Can anyone recommend a multiplayer module for 3 to 4 players?

Ideally, I'm looking for:

1.  A classic medieval setting, preferably with a tavern, a dungeon, etc.
2.  Support for 3 to 4 low level, inexperienced players
3.  An adventure that could be completed in 3 to 4 hours

Thanks!!

Im not really sure why you are overwhelmed as there aren't that many modules that actually support multiplayer intentionally. Go through the top single player campaigns and just try it out as a multiplayer. Usually they work except for a few odd spots.

I'm not aware of any multi-player mods that can be finished that quickly.
My mod, Baltron's Beacon, was designed with multi-player in mind, but to be honest, I've never tested it in multi-player. It's for lvls 5-7, and takes about 6 hours.
The vault has multi-player listings. Just consider a high vote score as a recomendation.

Good luck.

You could also look up Edinmoor by Dorateen. I am not sure how it will work MP but as Mr Eligard so eloquently suggests  many of the single player mods will work as multiplayer.

Edinmoor is good solid DnD and is designed for a party play rather than being a single player story driven experience. It is mid level play which is perhaps not what you are looking for. On the positive side you wont be running out of hit points all the time, you may find it a little more forgiving in that respect. It's got roleplaying but it is focused and so may well fit into your timescale.

Anyways, good luck and I hope you have a good evening Posted Image.

I'm pretty sure Legacy of White Plume Mountain is intended for single or multi-play.

I would suggest giving Chronicles of Charnia - Lanterna(MP) a tryPosted Image. It has been played many times in Multiplayer mode back when the "Tavern of Hidden Tales" group was active. There are really 3 chapters, but we usually could finish the first chapter in 3-4 hours. There is a story that surrounds the main PC, but with good role playing this isn't a bad thing. There are companions that can join the party, but they are not forced and we mostly played MP without them. If you play in Single Player mode I'd still suggest playing the MP version as it is the most up to date version.

There is a tavern in the initial area which includes a concert to attend (2 songs from DCD). The other tavern in Langdale is open but nothing exciting happening there without roleplaying.
