*cough* - Ethics and morality aside... HOW exactly do you plan on using these cigs in game?

There's no inventory system to quick-slot your cigs from. None of the ME games to date had consumables or quick-slottable items. That's a lot of fundamental changes to the game's mechanics for what amounts to a vanity item.

Seems to me that is a single good reason not to implement them.

Wow there's a lot of finger pointing going on around here. Those people are bad because of X; these people are bad because of Y. Just remember, when you point the finger at someone else, there are three pointing back at you.

Don't judge other people's life choices. We all have our vices and coping mechanisms. One person may choose to somoke, another may choose to over-eat. Some may choose to live the cleanest life possible. Moral of the story: we are all Human, and we are all flawed.

You don't have to be a saint, but there's a gulf between that and being an addict, and yes thats what smokers are.

So does that make addicts bad people?  Again, when you point the finger outward, look back at yourself.  You have no right to judge anyone...unlesse you're a judge.

As humans we all judge each other, I do, you do, everyone does. You can't change human nature. Addicts are bad beause they are no longer choosing their actions, their brain is forcing them to take that cig/shot/snort/whatever or suffer all the effects of refusal. Which many addicts choose that it's easier to stay addicted then go down the rough road of recovery. But if someone isn't an addict and chooses to drink/smoke then that's their choice, I don't support it and I'll voice my opinion but in the end if that's what they like to do then they have the right to as long as they aren't breaking the law or their choice isn't affecting my health.
