I was wondering if it was possible to use my PC save game with the PS3 version of ME2? If so how do I go about doing this?

Impossible? Why would they not allow it for those who played the pc version before getting it for PS3?

I'd have thought that a save editor would do it. I certainly have the option to save in PS3 format on mine.

Gibbed's will only allow a PC/Xbox transfer. The PS3 uses a totally different file save format, all saves are stored in one file, PC/Xbox have individual files per save.
Given the way that Sony is willing to sue its own customers for creating 3rd party tools to use on the PS3, I wouldnt hold my breath waiting for a community made tool. You will have to settle for the "Previously on Mass Effect" comic that will come with ME3.
