Just noticed that the insignia/avatar/symbol for Mass Effect 2's Configuration utility is the Cerberus symbol.

I don't mean to purposely make 'something' out of 'nothing', but does anyone else think it odd that the connotation in relation to how we perceive and experience the game is influenced by Cerberus (a pro-human group bent against the will of any alien) through imagery, and thus, is a bit creepy?

I fully understand that the configuration of the game has nothing to do with the choices we make in game, as well as the fact that Cerberus is simply a means to an end however you play Shepard, but pictorially, Cerberus is already 'pulling your strings' (so to speak) concerning how you can and can't view the game, and thus how you can or can't play...  ....is this not a somewhat amusing concern to anyone else?

No, its not an amusing concern. You are making something out of nothing, and obviously failed to notice how you were working for Cerberus for the entire game.
