If I took Carver down into the Deep Road with Anders and he ended up joining the Grey Wardens, can I add him as a companion in Act 2 to play the Legacy DLC?

Normally he's no longer available as a companion after he joins the Wardens of course, but I thought this DLC might be a special case since it involves the Grey Wardens specifically.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could let me know!

Yes both Bethany and Carver can be used in Legacy regardless of their affiliations as long as they survived past act 1.

Hey guys i just finish dragon age 2 and im going to play legacy dlc. i have a question
when i try to travel, Carver isnt available (When i say travel i mean Black Emporium) but when i start legacy he is available.

Also Carver is a templar. thanks in advance.

If you take the time to get Carver as far to 'friendship' as possible, you get different dialogue.

I love Carver's friendship dialogue during Legacy, it really shows him finally opening up to his brother/sister, it is actually really sweet.

I take it you sided with the Mages. Carver only becomes available to travel to the Emporium if he actually rejoins you in the end-game. If he's a Templar that only happens if you side with them (his switchign sides just before the final battle doesn't count since you don't get to 'add him to the party' as it were.

Yes i sided with the mages. Same thing will happen with Bethany ?

I've never actually taken a non-mage playthrough w/Circle Bethany all the way to completion, so I can't say. Sorry!

As an aside, if you make either of them Wardens they will rejoin you near the start of the final quest (in Lowtown), and you will get the 'party select' screen. After this you can take them in the post-game hijinks (Black Emporium).

I have restarted the game a few days ago just to get firendship dialogue with Carver:)
