CVG/Xbox World again? They were the same pepople who claimed that the rumors months back were true and that the reveal would happen in last month's Xbox World magazine.

This. I remember everyone losing thier collective minds over the same magazine promising the same info a few months back and it turned out to be a single sentence that said there were rumors of MP. That's all.

Until we actually have the magazine or a Dev says something, I'm not gonna fall for their stunts twice.

Brotherhood is the best of the series. And the multiplayer is damn fun.

I agree, plus it was made only in a year. compared to ME3 2 years.

Urhm yeah but Ubisoft assings 400 people to work on each AssCreed. That's the reason why they're able to make them annualy and keep the quality (and scope).

Whatevs, I don't care about how long development takes. Blizzard is my first love, and they're NOTORIOUSLY slow. I waited more than a decade for SC2, and am waiting more than a decade for D3.

I don't care if ME3 takes a long time to make. It's still a refreshingly brisk pace compared to some other companies :P

I'm thinking it'll be one of two things.

-Multiplayer.
-Space Combat

Either of which I would welcome gladly.

Soon. It will be ready... soon Image IPB

Bioware is fast. Possibly to their detriment in terms of lack of polish. But Blizz.... they take forever lol. (These are my two favorite developers.)

Read my post on the previous page.  It's not going to be a "stunt."

It's a new female character that is a killer. To counter act the (probably) "good" nature and naivety of James Vega.

That's just my guess...

Now if only they kept Creed to a bi-annual trilogy and did the same for Prince of Persia...

By Ormazd, that game truly deserves (and needs!) a sequel.

Why? The quality of yearly AssCreeds is great, as much as I would want to hate on Ubi for pumping this franchise. I mean, for fans it can't be anything but good getting so much quality content from their fav franchise.

Ass for POP, Ubi blew it when they decided to go back to SOT era after rebooting the thing in 2008. I don't think they even now themselves what to do with the franchise now...

Really they just need to wrap up Ezio's story in Revelations. If they get a new ancestor of Desmond's for the next AssCreed, that's fine with me... sign me up.

Sure, but one game of Ezio was already more than enough for me. That and I want them to continue PoP '08's story; absolutely loved that world, the story, its characters... most importantly the elegance and minimalism of it all.

Elika also became one of the very few fictional characters I genuinely cared about. Ah, Elika... <3

The missions are heavily, heavily scripted.  This allowed the developers to crank out the game fast, but killed the replay value. AC fans like my wife enjoy exploring the 101 different ways that you can carry out an assassination mission.  That just isn't possible in Brotherhood because the parameters are too tightly scripted.

Assassins creed 2 is just as scripted as brotherhood. Unless you can explain how they were not.

I have a feeling people are overestimating what this "killer feature" will be.

Yeah, it could be co-op or multiplayer versus, but it could be something smaller like an easier way to import saves or improved planet scanning.

Here's the thing: If MP isn't announced by December, then you can bet your butt that it's not there. Until then, we'll just have to live and see.

Fallacy.

The job openings were at Edmonton, and the first one specifically called out Mass Effect. The second specified work with the Unreal engine. Hmm, what IP of Bioware's is being developed in Edmonton on the Unreal engine?

SWTOR is being developed in Austin.

It's been a while since I saw that job opening, but is it not within the realm of possibility that Edmonton's office is large enough to work on two IP's at once, and that they could be working on another game that utilizes the Unreal engine?

They don't even have to be that 'far' into development, it could be still be pre-planning and prototyping, with additional staff coming 'onboard' as ME3 finishes up on it's production and passes its milestones.

Bleh. I've said before that multiplayer would suit ME quite well (if done right), and I stick to that statement.

However, I think it might be something Kinect-wise, like the option of having the Kinect scan your face, so it automatically generates a custom Shepard closest to your face.

Actually, this would be a really nice feature to implement. Makes a lot more sense than multiplayer.

Looking forward to spend 40 quid on a feature I won't use, how many years will it be until The Mass Effect series is finally trashed, milked and dragged through the mud by Bioware? If multiplayer is which obviously is, bioware will only focus on making it better, thus wasting more resource on this piece of **** and less towards campaign. Part of me hopes Mass Effect 3 fails so badly, that would be one juicy slap in the face for them.

How do you know what they will focus on it? How do you know the campaign would get less resources if there was multiplayer?  One is not mutually exclusive to the other. Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Dead Space 2 had multiplayer and excellent single player.

Most of the AC fans over at the Hidden Blade consider the singleplayer of AC:B to the be absolute worst in the series.

Then they're being overly snooty. It was fine. On top of that, even if you don't like the singleplayer. there's no way to know whether it would have better or worse with or without it.

Look to the previous game for your answer.

Don't understand when a new feature in ME3 is going to be announced people think "OMG IT'LL BE MULTIPLAYER", has there been any proof of the possibility of MP, why announce MP in a magazine instead of E3, comic con etc. Untill some one has found some soild evidence fo MP in ME3 then i don't think the "Killer feature" will be MP since the only proof of MP in the game are rumors
