The last X-Box magazine piratically had MP confirmed on the cover then just rehashed the same old rumors. If ME3 was getting MP, it seems like they would want to reveal it at a big event (like the kinect support) instead of giving one magazine the scoop. Stranger things have happened, I suppose.

Am I the only one who thinks multiplayer for ME 3 could have huge potential? Wouldn't it be great if we could take our builds from SP to MP and vice versa and earn experience by playing both modes. Having a variety of classes and play styles that uses the RPG and customisation methods could really make ME 3 an interesting edition to the online space.

Killer new feature...this is an EA game and most of them always something in common such as multiplayer, possibly leaderboards and stats?I hope it is not multiplayer, Dead Space 2 did this. The story was short and multiplayer was put in and it was complete ****, horror was tried down and shooting was up. There were actual parts in the game where you had to kill wave after wave of Necromorphs. I Mass Effect does this then something cute will die by strangulation.

It ain't even gaming convention. Character reveal or comic reveal is good for that. If they wanted to announce MP on some event, they would've used Gamescom/Eurogamer/TGS/GameFest etc. I can only think of Paris Game Show but that ain't big really.

I'll call this - voice support for dialogue, as in, you can say Shep's phrases and not use the dialogue wheel.

Pretty sure they're not doing anything big there. As far as I know, Mac Walters will be there for Dark Horse, but there won't be any new demos, features, etc. for ME3.

That's already been confirmed... it was at E3 for Kinect.

Trying not to but the South Africa Multiplayer ad shook me up.  I think we have to face the facts, chances are it's coming no matter what.  It certain follows the trends to fps gameplay.

This is the same magazine that a few months ago had "Mass Effect 3: New Levels and Multiplayer" on it's front cover:



I bought the magazine and all it had was a tiny box within the main article that just repeated all the rumours that had been going around.  Whatever they are going to reveal, I'd still advise against anybody buying this POS magazine (not that I'm bitter ).

Great, another multiplayer rumour. I don't want it myself, but it's ridiculous BioWare just won't confirm or deny it and get it over with.

But to be honest, since when is multiplayer a 'killer new feature'? If it's multiplayer it will probably be some half-assed horde mode... like every other shooter has to have these days. If it's unique co-op missions, then I'd say BioWare might have a good thing going. But for the love of god, please keep multiplayer, competitive or co-op, out of the singleplayer experience.
