only mp i would even think of suporting is that the other players (2 extra players) play as the squad members and has no say or other functions in the game and stor other than combat culd be fun. so you can take two frends along on the ride
why include mp in this game when EA has Battlefield 3 for that
they can instead give dice the rights to make a Mass effect: batllefield game

Don't care, it's hard to see if games these days are for our entertainment or just tools to rob us of our money. The videogame industry is just terrible. You can even pay for a full game on the spot now, you have fork out even more later on after purchasing the game just to actually complete the maingame.
What game made you fork over more to complete the main game?
Seeing as how the main game is the one that came on the disk.

I'm not arguing that the game industry is a piece of sh*t, but seriously, I don't think I've seen one happy post from you, ever.

That said, I don't think it'll be anything multiplayer.

FozQuest.
Was a terrible game and I won't play it again.

I've yet to play, purchase, or hear of a game where you had to do that.
Also, seriously? You all really think it's MP?
No, screw all those major demo-events and games-con type events! Those are terrible places to reveal a radically new feature to the series!
We should totally wait for a 2nd-rate magazine to reveal it!

Am I the only one who thinks multiplayer for ME 3 could have huge potential? Wouldn't it be great if we could take our builds from SP to MP and vice versa and earn experience by playing both modes. Having a variety of classes and play styles that uses the RPG and customisation methods could really make ME 3 an interesting edition to the online space.
It doesn't work that way. The current powers are immensely overpowered in a competitive multiplayer setting. For a frame of reference, imagine playing Halo where your opponent has active camo virtually the entire map. That is essentially the Infiltrator with the exception they would spawn with a sniper rifle, making it all the more broken. Remember, you cannot locate them on your radar if tactical cloak is active. Charge is another problem, as it negates any attack once the animation triggers, stuns the opponent upon connect and puts them at lethal shotgun range. Adrenaline Rush is outright impossible as you cannot slow down real time. They would make it make it more of a haste effect, although I am not certain how feasible that would be.
Case in point, the classes in multiplayer would have to undergo significant alternation for balance purposes. This in turn could hinder the single player for a few reasons. The most noteworthy would be the available disc space, while other the obvious dual work necessary to accommodate two completely different sets of mechanics.
If the multiplayer is wholly standalone, that begs the question of what purpose it serves. The only reason to implement it would be to attract FPS gamers, convincing them to spend less time on Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield and Gears of Wars. All four of those games place multiplayer at the forefront of their design, it is the absolute make or break of the game for the most part, whereas Mass Effect wants to sell its story. FPS gamers are quite vocal in their hatred for lengthily cutscenes and ample dialogue sessions, both being a hallmark of this series. Why would they play less of games that are developed specific with their interests in mind, to play a game that only a small portion is directed to them?
I do believe Mass Effect has the potential for a truly unique multiplayer however if BioWare wants to compete with the juggernauts in the industry, they need to put their whole development focus on multiplayer, not a mere fraction.

I'll call this - voice support for dialogue, as in, you can say Shep's phrases and not use the dialogue wheel.
That's already been confirmed... it was at E3 for Kinect.
Yay, I failed - thought I didn't know that announcement, so I got it right in a way

Only on BSN would we think:
Killer New Feature=multiplayer...even when we don't want it.
Facts? What facts?

The obvious solution to avoid the whole OP-ness is to play as squadmates against AI opponents. That way you don't have to worry about time dialation or how ridiculously unfair warp-bombing someone would be.
You still have to worry about time dilation, surely? Unless your adrenaline rush works for all PCs.

It's NOT mp. ME3 will NOT be MP, it would've been announced already at one of their major exposure events. They are, however, working on a MP title for ME. Count on it.
