You still have to worry about time dilation, surely? Unless your adrenaline rush works for all PCs.

I'm hoping it's a story-based co-op, à la Resident Evil 5, where your friends can take over the squadmates in combat.
Or ponies.
Twilight Sparkel or GTFO!!!

I'm praying for no planet scanning. That would indeed be killer.
There was a recent twitter on the twitter thread where they said that there'll be an improved version of the planet scanning.
About the article, I doubt that they're going to reveal MP in a magazine.

The obvious solution to avoid the whole OP-ness is to play as squadmates against AI opponents. That way you don't have to worry about time dialation or how ridiculously unfair warp-bombing someone would be.
While a better alternative, you then have to balance the squadmates who are vastly inferior to Shepard, while increasing the enemy count by a sizable amount otherwise the game would be far too easy. This in turns requires larger level designs to accommodate an increased enemy presence and does not factor in what the second player does during the abundance of cutscenes where only Shepard would be responding. There will be plenty of watching in the coop player's future.
If multiplayer is just you playing an Alliance soldier verse the Geth or something in completely standalone missions, well I'll just play Black Ops, since that's basically what it is.

I said play as squadmates, as in no one plays as Shepard. Seperate gameplay mode entirely. Sorry for the confusion.Bourne Endeavor wrote...

And gaming magazines are not trustworthy.
Also, what the hell is Online Multiplayer pass and why is it for Collector Edition?

There CAN'T be such a thing as a multiplayer pass.
But, wait, wait.
ME3 confirmed to be an MMORPG.

Well, we still haven't had an official confirmation of multiplayer from a developer, so when or if the confirmation comes, it will be as solid as it can get.
Didnt we have a couple of "Mass Effect 3 is a single player game" statements?.......Ahem single player game at the time of comment lol.

Because the official website hasn't revealed MP yet. The scan from the retailer obviously leaked out. Its plain as day that ME3 is going to have MP of some sort. I don't have much interest in ME anymore, but I think its just denial at this point to think ME3 isn't going to have some kind of online pass/MP.

That line doesn't leave a lot of possibilities. Though I'd laugh if they really announce MP on XBOX World.
As much as I don't want MP in ME3, I think it's better if they'll announce now and end this situation of doubt.

Alan wake, Dragon Age 2, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 the list goes ****ing on. Day one dlc makes me a unhappy person. AdmiralCheez and eternalambiguity no, I'm not always pissed off but I get pissed off really easily. Just sick of games such as Dragon Age 2 and Call of Duty getting released. I only just found out that Hitman 5 is also catering towards the ****tards who only know how to pull a trigger. They added a feature that is just...game breaking really and makes it too easy. And I apologise to you two if I was a dick to you guys in the past. But really now, multiplayer isn't a feature, it was but now it isn't, it's a cash grabbing tool that unfortunately works. Pessimism helps you not to get your expectations to high.
Uh, I completed DA2, DS2, and ME2 without paying extra. Unless you mean DLC?
Because DLC is NOT the main story. It is ADDITIONAL story.
The main story of ME2 was Shepard fighting and stopping the Collectors. the Shadow Broker was ADDITIONAL storyline, but you BEAT the endgame without paying extra.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Clearly, you are insane and should have your posting privilidges removed for your safety and ours.

Mate, this is a rather poor stereotype I have to refute. While FPS games are developed for the casual gamer in mind, there is a level of complexity involved to make you a good player. You have to be aware of your surroundings, your allies, the level itself and reaction with slip second reflexes to get the drop on people. Granted, Black Ops moved away from that approach and became more "first shot wins" but most FPS demand strategy if you want to be considered a good player. Believe me, I wasn't ranked top level in Halo 2 because I could just "pull a trigger."
FPS get a bad rap because of the young crowd who scream every slur you can imagine and acts like they're the best in the world because of a single good game. If we had less of them on Xbox Live, things would be much nicer.
