 How would I do this?

I have the PC and Xbox versions of the game, so now I can run the tooset.

Ultimately, I want to edit the starting stats of my character on the 360. That is all.

I love the UI of the 360 and the controller and I want to be able to play a cutom game, just like on the PC.

I don't want any gear, just a few simple changes to my starting attributes.

Thank you!

Note: Have tried saving an XBOX 360 save to my pen drive and modifying it with the PC toolset. I can open Gamesave.dat but can't modify it's contents!

Note 2: Managed to find Xbox 360 save games online that have been pre-modded! I After moxio, I managed to get them working on my Xbox 360!! But HOW did they modify these xbox 360 game saves?!

It's usually only a question of format. if the format differ between xbox360 and the PC it's just a matter of checking the file with a hexeditor to see what diffrences there are. You can be quite certain that they are similar. if it's the same you can edit it with the regular PC tools such as a GFF editor. you can find these in the project section.

Hello CID-78,

Thanks for your reply. I've recently found GFFeditor although I'm having no luck with it.
I've used Modio to remove the xbox 360 savegame from my USB and to extract the gamesave.dat file.

After extraction I've used the GFF editor to change the Strength Attribute to 20, saved and the used to Modio to put the file back into the savegame file, re-hashed and reformatted.

But when I get it in my console, it tells me that the file is corrrupted.

Am I missing something?

it's probably a checksum safety check that you trigger. Check if you can simply put the file back unchanged with modio to see if it's the process or the editing that trigger it.
