I'm playing a warlock in a PW, and I have activated the option to show HP on the portrait. However, when I use Devour Magic, the extra temporary HP aren't shown (they're really added, but the numbers on the portrait don't change). Another warlock player in that PW doesn't have this issue, so it's not a PW problem.
I don't know if this is common issue, it's been a while since I played a high level warlock. AFAIK, I only have the PW files in my Documents folder. Any idea of what may be causing this?

You should probably address this on the PW forums, or ask one of their tech-heads. Other than that, I'd wager that when painofdungeoneternal shows up, he may be able to answer that.

I tried in a single player module, and I had the same problem. So I have no idea of what it could be, but it's not related to multiplayer.

I turned that feature on once and immediately started having graphic glitches and crashes. I turned it back off. I figured it wasn't heavily used and perhaps just not heavily tested.

The one to display HP on the portrait? Weird, it has never happened to me. But it's worth knowing.
I tried reactivating that option, but no change. I've also asked to that PW staff, but I got no solution yet, and as I said, it's not a multiplayer-only problem.

Things keep getting better. I've tried reinstalling the game, just in case, and now I can't connect to multiplayer! I've created a thread on the Tech Support forum, if someone can help...

Well, after fixing that other thing... everything remains the same after a reinstallation. Temporal HP aren't showed.

I got the same issue, I think (haven't played nwn2 in months so going offa memory here) that it updates it when you switch between characters. That obviously won't help you in multiplayer but if I remember that right then it might offer a clue for ways to fix it via scripting...maybe.

You mean changing to a party member? I'll try that.
Edit: Switching characters back and forth works, thanks. It's not permanent, unfortunatelly.
One of the DMs of that PW sent me his copy of the xml files that are supposed to control the portrait numbers and icons. That didn't help, though.
Maybe I don't need to mention this, but I have this problem with any sort of temporary HP from spells, not only Devour Magic (same with cleric's Divine Power, for example).
