To be honest, the only thing that looks meh is the overused Sur'Kesh demo. Everything else they've shown is rather outstanding.Mr.Kusy wrote...
Game looks lovely. Maybe I'll buy it after all.

What does "conflict zone" mean?
AQuestMission or Assignment obviously.
I know that. What kind? "Zone" sounds rather vague. There's no objective in that, not like "help whatever-it-was squad".

Hmm very interesting i am liking the fact that there is more than one place to explore on a planet
My thoughts exactly too! Everything looked so sharp and detailed.
HURRY UP MARCH 2012!!!!

Apparently we're going to be visiting a mining base on Mars at some point early in the game. Obviously no one knows what for, but I want to say it's Prothean-related.Nyoka wrote...

It's correct, I double-checked. We just don't know why we're going there. I'd rather we don't anyway. Spoilers be a harsh mistress!matt-bassist wrote...

I don'tmind spoilers but surprises are nice too. As the saying goes, life is a journey, not a destination.

I definitely preferred the orbital planetary views over the toyish ones ME2 gave us. But I guess it had to be done for the scanning to work.Shockwave81 wrote...
I really hope they improve the galaxy map itself - it just looks so boring. Even ME1 had a more visually stimulating galaxy map.

An excellent recent thread found a "Cerberus Daily News" item about a whole new underground chamber of the Prothean Ruins on Mars that had only recently been opened after years of finding a way through its protective security measures. I'll look for the link.
Also, am I crazy, or doesn't that siver floating sphere look a whole lot like the Prothean artifact from the Firewaler mission?

You're not, it looks like that. And both look like the mysterious orb from one of the UNC worlds in ME1, where it was said the orb had a 'key hole' of some kind but you didn't have a key and the orb was a big mystery that looked like it was very deliberately left unresolved.Thompson family wrote...

I think that's a destroyed version of Sur'Kesh, based on that cascade/terraces shape of the building in the back.didymos1120 wrote...
Is it just me, or does the location at 0:39 look a lot like Ilos?

You must be referring to this thread. It's a decent analysis but mostly based on speculation, to be honest. Still, kudos to the OP for trying!leonia42 wrote...
Wasn't there an old thread that had listed all of the planets that this bit of footage had revealed or did I just dream that up? It would be handy if folks could screenshot planets so we can try to guess what they are based on a still image.
