recently i have been messing around with the developers consol what are your thoughts does it cheapen the game or if used in moderation and only at the start does it or could it add new complexity to the game post your thoughs and reasons why im very curious as to the communities veiw on this paticular subject:alien:

Personally I've only used the Dev console twice, one of those times was today in order to make Soldiers peak re-appear on my map after it randomly vanashed more than half way through my game. I suppose it could be abused and therefore cheapen the game but no more than the toolset does; it's amazing what you can do with that.
