Vorcha - because vile space-goblins with agression issues are awesome.
Elcor - because emotionally-devoid elephants that smoke cigars are awesome.

Salarians= They seem to be on the best terms with Humanity no matter if you sacrificed council or not.
Legion's Geth= They really tend to keep to themselves, so I don't find them to be a problem later on plus they seem to be more reasonable then other species.

Salarians and Orthodox Geth.
They are the most knowledgeable and have the most to contribute.

That's a tough choice.
I take it this only includes species in danger of being wiped out by the reaping; so not including yahg, raloi and other primitive (for want of a better word) species?
I'd go with salarians and geth too, for the peaceful technological advancement.

I think I chose turians because I am biased (blame Garrus).
Although in the long run, orthodox Geth would be the most valuable. Salarians, Humans, Geth. None of them have any tension between eachother, all of them are advanced, all of them are fairly peaceful.
Human
Salarian
Geth/maybe Turian

Asari's on the borderline but I'd be more likely to save them, if we could get rid of the majority of the Matriarchs for those that hold progressive views like Matriarch Aethyta.
Generally I'm going to try and save as many as I can.

Humans (of course)
Hanar (I appreciate what they did for the Drell)
The third one is difficult to choose. Krogan can be useful, but they're very unstable and it could easily backfire. The Quarians have a very low population and they have difficulty adapting to other worlds. The Turians would be too much of a pest (and the racist creatures refuse to hand out refunds), Asari's passivity is not necessary. Salarians could be useful but their social structure is an annoyance.

Humans, Hanar/Drell and Volus.
- Volus focus on the galaxy's market, make good targets to manipulate due to their outfits.
- Hanar are cool and the Drell are dying off by themselves, might as well save them and leave them to die slowly. I know this is two species, however they both live on one planet and it'll be pretty damn hard to save one without the other. In addition to this, eliminating the Hanar should they ever pose a threat isn't difficult due to the ocean planet.
- The parasites are eliminated, Thessia's remains are mined for Eezo.
- Turians no longer prove a galactic risk, Palaven becomes a mining planet.
- Sur'kesh can't be used for more demo footage, it's quarantined incase Bioware tries to shoot more footage.
- Krogan aren't a potential problem in the future, Tutchanka is abandoned due to it's hostile environment and wildlife.
- Batarians pose no more threat to humanity, Khar'shan becomes a prison world simply for the irony.
- Geth pose no more threat to humanity, their remains are used to create scooters because scooters are cool.
- Quarians are eliminated because they're useless and don't have flashlight heads.
- Keepers are removed so they can't rise up against their human masters and form the Keeper Collective.
I like it. Expecially your solution for the Batarian homeworld. LOL!

The Turians are an obvious choice for me. They're my favorite race. Other than that, well...
The krogan are a double-edged sword: Dangerous and love to fight, but very handy allies if you need them.
With the asari gone, hopefully that means Aria too. I'd be glad, 'cause she got on my nerves, haha.
I suppose that leaves the salarians vs. the quarians. Hmm. I think I'd save the salarians because they closely resemble the traditonal look of aliens.
Superficial, I know, but I like them. So for me it would be...

Quarian/Geth - The Quarians are my first choice. Aside from the Salarians, they would be the best at any post-war rebuilding. The Geth get counted too because I can only assume that when peace is made between the two that they would be very closely linked. Unless you blew up the Geth I don't think you could have one without the other.
Asari - I don't think this needs much explanation. One of the most versatile and intelligent races in the galaxy is an obvious choice to save.
