One elcor criminal. Hm.

That we are told of. There's also the merchant on Omega, and the Afterlife Bouncer (I'm sure he wasn't picked by Aria because he was cuddly). While not necessarily criminal per-se, they weren't nice folks either, and considering our limited exposure to Elcor in general, their % aren't looking good.

People should kinda figure to stay away from the Persius Veil after the first few dozen ships being destroyed. Their own fault they are too stupid to learn that. That, and organics didn't make a very good first impression. *coughstupidspacegypiescough*

And this makes the Geth less prone to violence some how? I could tell people not to go into the tiger den before the first one gets mauled, but that doesn't make the tiger any less aggressive and violent than it is.

They are my favourite races, and humans are 'tards in general. I'll leave the galaxy to the elephants, jellyfish and robots.

Fine with them being your favorite species, but you're calling yourself and/or Shepard a '******', right there. Not that I necessarily disagree with that assessment of either you or your Shepard:P.

Legion. Unfortunately.

It's kind of sad how this one Geth changed some peoples' whole perspective concerning the Geth.

It helps the case that Legion is the first Geth that we've been able to have a conversation with, but I agree that people allowed themselves to 180 without too much apparent thought.

For me, Legion did change my perspective from "Mutually exclusive survival" to "Dangerous threat which I have little leverage on."

I think it is the revelation (unless its a lie of course) that the Heretics who attacked you were a minority group is what changed people's views on the Geth

If you met a Tiger that could talk, and informed you that those Tigers who have killed people were a splinter group who have views on humanity that the majority of tigers do not share, that would shift your view on them (talking aside)

Nothing compared to many other species, though.

Tigers are defensive animals; they only even attack humans if they are provoked, or straving. The Geth didn't fly out and attack other species after giving the Quarians the boot unless they were stupid enough to fly into their territory.

Ho ho, that snarky little jab didn't take long, did it?

Cerberus and the Alliance paints humans as bumbling 'tards. Most humans you meet act like 'tards, which unfortunetly labels humans as such. Notice the 'general' in my post.

Quarians, geth and turians. Maybe the hanar and the drell if I get a chance.

Asari? MEH. Nothing but bait.

Salarians? Have some moments, but nothing that makes them take top priority for me.

Human? The idiots of this galaxy that can't learn their place with apocalyptic retards like Cerberus running around. A little reaping will take them off their high horse.

Just as funny how you must rush to Cerberus' aid the second I say something you don't like.

Kind of pathetic in that way.

Yea, they went from agents of the Reapers wanting to help in the destruction of all organics to cuddly misunderstood robots. A rather lame transition. Here's hoping Legion is one of a kind.

You make it too easy.

Cerberus and the Alliance paints humans as bumbling 'tards. Most humans you meet act like 'tards, which unfortunetly labels humans as such. Notice the 'general' in my post.

While I don't really disagree with you on Cerberus, if humanity is a bunch of "bumbling 'tards", then the rest of the galaxy is that much worse than us, because they have allowed us to rise to prominence so quickly. How is the Alliance portrayed as any less competent that the Council?

Someone With Mass wrote...

And what, exactly, is our place? To submit to the authority of the council which has committed 2 cases of overt genocide and 1 recent case of allowing genocide to occur against one of their member species, and this is based on the fact that they got to the citadel first? Considering that the Asari are the most dominant influence on the council, this all happened within the space of 2 generations.

The Reapers are going to screw up everyone, and if it weren't for humans, everyone would be far more screwed than they already are. The fact that we humans were able to rise from the new guys on the block to a council member in such a short period of time implies that we actually stand a better chance of rebounding than the more static council species.

The Geth are still untrustworthy even if Shepard interacts with Legion. He never guarantees any long term peace with organics and the fact that they didn't give a damn about their Heretic cousins unleashing armageddon on organics until it inconvenienced them doesn't paint them in a good light either. That Legion doesn't know the endgame of that "Dyson Sphere" of theirs is also something to be worried about.

The Asari, since they can mate with any other species, so they have the best chance of survival, and they are the only real diplomats in the galaxy to keep peace. The Krogan were already going extinct, so it's pointless to save them. The Hanar are annoying and pointless. The Volus are the same. The Salarians are cold, calculating, and brutal as a species, but not as individuals. If they were saved, chances are the galaxy would not turn out good with so few species left, especially if a war broke out. The Turians are all around good people, just a little militaristic. The Quarians would be a good candidate, since they are a great people, amazing engineers, so they could really help rebuild. Also, with the Geth gone, they would have their home-world back, and they could populate other worlds again, so their species would survive. The Geth are pointless, a volatile bomb waiting to go off. The Batarians actually have no important role at all in the overall galaxy, and in no way help it to function. Overall, I would say the Asari and the Turians would be the most important to save, but the Asari and the Quarians are the ones I would want to save, and the ones who would deserve it most.

[Edit] The Drell also have no point, they were almsot/completely absent from ME1, and it made no difference. :alien:

The whole situation would be a little more bearable if Heretic Geth and Legion's Geth amount was split 50/50 but it sounds like the Heretics are a minority group which purposefully paints the Geth in somewhat of a good light.

Their keen glaring spotlight perceptions...they could certainly make humanity think about the many flaws in our dearly held world views, encourage us to re-evaluate ourselves and grow, become better and stronger than we could have imagined for ourselves....in my view anyway....

All four top races strike me like that....Humans, Turians, Asari, Salarians....and Volus if they had half a chance.

Where did people come up with this "humans are the blight of the galaxy!" BS? Call me selfish, but humans are the reason anyone is around in the galaxy. So many worse races then us out there. What 'atrocity' have we commited so far? Salarians gave the Krogan technology they couldn't use responsibly, Krogans rebelled, Turians halfway wiped them out. Batarian culture is based on slavery. Quarians got themselves killed by trying to wipe out there peaceful children.

We have done the most good, and no more bad then any then race.
