Where did people come up with this "humans are the blight of the galaxy!" BS? Call me selfish, but humans are the reason anyone is around in the galaxy. So many worse races then us out there. What 'atrocity' have we commited so far? Salarians gave the Krogan technology they couldn't use responsibly, Krogans rebelled, Turians halfway wiped them out. Batarian culture is based on slavery. Quarians got themselves killed by trying to wipe out there peaceful children.
We have done the most good, and no more bad then any then race.

The explanation for Legion is that he's basically just a much more powerful memory, so that shell can maintain much higher levels of intellegence and storage when isolated.
Explain how that makes sense. I've met people who had great memories but were also idiots.
In computers, Memory =/= storage. Hard-drives are storage for long term, RAM is memory that allows mupltiple programs to run at the same time.
Speficically in Legion, more simultaneous geth processes are capable of running on that platform than the average infantry platform, giving Legion high enough functioning randomness combined with upgraded processing power to operate independently.
ROM and RAM both. Legion has the capacity to both hold more programs, and run more of them simultaneously. Well put.

Being responsible for Saren meeting Sovereign through illegal AI research for example? And that was the alliance!
Though granted Cerberus was responsible for most of the notable atrocities commited by humanity in the ME universe, not for all of them.
Also in ME, humanity is very similar to the present humanity in everything but the state of our tech. Face it we're far from perfect in reality, and it is very well reflected in the ME. BUT most alien species aren't really any better (or worse), just different. Some try to make themselves look better, like the asari for example, but they really aren't if you take a closer look.

-Humans are an obvious choice. Shep's human, I (the player) am human, we want humanity to survive.
-Asari are generally peaceful and maintain galactic stability, not really warlike. Plus they can have relationships with humans and are generally open minded. They can stay.
-Quarians are good, hard workers. Haven't encountered enemy quarians as of yet, plus many are mechanical and technical geniuses. Actually haven't really encountered an evil quarian outside of that ominous message from one on the Fleet.
As for the rest-
Turians and humans have too much enmity (First Contact War). Turian politicians (Councilor, Joran Talid) are pretty bad. There's Garrus...but he's an exception rather than the norm.
Krogan are dangerous, it's been proven when they breeded like rabbits and tried to overtake the galaxy. Especially if Wrex is dead, they seem to prefer the violent life.
Geth are bad, can never trust AI. Seen too many games/movies where they cannot be trusted. They aren't living beings so yeah.
Drell are passable (like quarians), but I've seen more quarians than drell. Otherwise they'd be a tie.
Salarians...they can always introduce another genophage on another race.
Elcor, hanar, volus...who cares?

Humans haven't had enough time to do much. And "the most good" is almost solely related to one individual.Zakatak757 wrote...

Asari,~They are no better or worse then any of the others, But over all they seem to be fare more peace loving then say the Krogan and a bit more level headed dipolmatically speaking then the Turians or Salarians.
Quarian,~They are mechanical genius' and that could really come in handy after a galactic wide war. And they are no more warlike then any of the others and just because they tried to wipe out their children the geth doesn't make them any worse then us with our past history.

Salarians - The only one of the Big Three who haven't pissed me off. Intelligent, diligent and inoffensive. The Turians are fascists who are far to uptight and conservative. The Asari are even more glaringly conservative (Matriatch Awesomeya of Illium summed them up beautifully) and their millennia of galactic hegemony has racked up three genocides on their watch.

Not true. That 'one individual' is the result of a vast Alliance diplomatic effort that has been going on for decades. Also, the crew of the SR1 was vital in the success of the mission.Xilizhra wrote...

Additionally, Humans have done more than just delayed and kneecaped the Reaper invasion. They have produced the exceptionally useful Medi-gel used by militaries and emergency services around the galaxy, helped secure the border with the Terminus systems, and blunted the power of two beligerant nations (Hegemony and Heretics).

Not "offically" . There is still Drell on there home world/planet. Most do have Kepral's Syndrom though, but there not all dead. Hanar are working for a cure but we won't know if they do get the cure made and ready for use in Me3.Gabey5 wrote...

Screw humanity.
- Drell
- Turians
Case closed. ^.^
the drell are already a dead race
Even included the remaining Drell on the Hanar homeworld Kahje, there are still only about 100 000 Drell in existence.
