I have the 'free' version of Mass effect 2 from purchasing Dragon Age 2.   I wanted to tweak the game a bit by editing the coalesced.ini file but i can't seem to find the correct folder its located in.  I checked my program files folders and cant seem to locate the mass effect 2 folder.  The only mass effect 2 folder i have is currently in my My documents folder but there is no Coalesced.ini file in the config folder.  Even used windows search to look for the Coalesced but it showed no results.  Is there somewhere im not looking? Or does the 'free' version not have the option to edit the Coalesced.ini Thanks in advance

Apparently, google still works...

I got this:

Editing the
Coalesced.ini
configuration file is the main method of tweaking, modding, or cheating Mass Effect 2. This file is not located under your Documents folder; it is found under the folder where you installed the game.

  • Default location:
    X:\\Program Files\\Mass Effect 2\\BioGame\\Config\\PC\\Cooked\\Coalesced.ini
from here:

masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/PC_Tweaks_%28Mass_Effect_2%29

on the mass effect wiki site. I guess I was wrong in my first post. It's in the same spot on all platforms?  I don't know.  Too tired...must sleep.
