I was using Miranda and Mordin in my squad during the mission to Horizon and just before the Praetorian appeared, I noticed that Miranda had her legs splayed apart and arms held out from her sides and as she moved, she tended to run as if she were some sort of marionette. I wanted to take a screenshot to better illustrate, but the cutscene highlighting the Praetorian's arrival started playing and I wasn't able to grab the screenshot.

Its a rare, but not unknown video glitch that can occasionally occur. As far as I know, noone has been able to track down the exact source of it, but it does seem to happen more frequently on Nvidia cards than it does on ATI cards.
Personally, I suspect it has something to do with Nvidias horrible habit of not supporting games that are more than a year old, as they tweaks they incorporate into newer drivers often leave older games on older cards running somewhat buggy. Try the drivers I linked to in your other thread about glitched sound, and let us know if the problem gets repeated.

I want to say it was on Horizon that I saw it happen as well, but only one time. I had the impression it was some resource-saving function of the game when things got "complicated" and turned off character animations as a way to simplify things. I was in the middle of a hectic firefight, turned around to look to see where my squadmates were, and saw Miranda stuck in some odd running pose and gliding down a sloped area of terrain. As soon as my field of view focused on her, she straightened up and started acting right almost a second later. Weird.
I know of another game that you could mod with creatures that had distance-driven settings that governed when animations were done, to save resources. I bet it's a similar function or result, regardless of whether they intentionally designed the game that way or not. When scenes got overly complex, or you happened to be in areas that the level designers didn't intend for you to be able to see the creatures from so far away, you'd see them marionetting around the landscape on their patrol routes, acting strangely. They could still do all the things they were supposed to do, it was just their animations were turned off to conserve resources.
