Alrightey so I've noticed that people seem to be using the toolset with no problems, however last time I tried I ended up breaking my game .  

Anyway to avoid breaking my game again or would I be better off waiting for an updated version of the toolset?

You can safely use the toolset as far you clean the override temp folders that are created when opening the campaign mods.

You can also use the function "empty export directories" within the toolset.
