The femshep dress was the only time where the shared animations were a problem. I think it's fine that the animations are the same for each Shepard, the quality of some anims definitely needs to be raised though.

Tell these guys that they are walking wrong, because they are built differently and should move differently. Because apparently they don't get that and think that they are allowed to walk more feminine than most women.

How many threads have we got about this?

Dress or no dress, sitting FemShep made me facepalm. Most women don't sit with their legs splayed into two different time zones. That's an inherently male thing to do. ;)

They're wearing heels, you have to wiggle your ass to walk in heels. :P I enjoyed watching that though, it made me laugh. *was a ballet dancer for years*

Even when men do it, I think it looks ridiculous. Yeah 'cause it's that big, fellas. Image IPB

Maybe, some of us sit with crossed legs though. Like TIM for example.

Another topic about this ? xD
How many is this? About the 5th one?
Yes , Female Shepard acts like a man.. walks like a man.. crosses the arms like a man.. gives the stares like a man. Me1 was better about this, BW had a lot to do in Me2 than Me1 so there is these flaws. These should be fixed in Me3 , but possibly not since there is many things to do.

You say like a man. But isn't it more about being masculine or feminine rather than being a man or a woman?

Your right she should be more feminine... Maybe turn the Normandy into a giant space kitchen!

They did mention the Normandy is going to be retrofited!.....*squeals with glee*

Nice. <_< Not every woman cooks nor considers it a part of being feminine. Just because FemShep is a badass doesn't mean she should sit and walk like a man. Our bodies are built differently and that should be reflected.

(And hopefully not exaggerated like FemHawke)

I agree actually =)

Excellent. Um, fistbump? :D

I accept your terms

I'd just be happy if my femSheps didn't look at something behind them while running; one of these days, she/they are going to run into something. :?

LOL, I still wonder why they had her do that. *shakes head* It's a mystery.

Making some of the animations different would be smart.
So long as it's not exaggerated like DA2, mind you.

Although I did like Aveline from DA2, nothing very feminine about her really, but had her own charm. Problem is, is that Femshep is the players character and tends to break the immersion relationship between Human and Player character if the PC doesn't have some slight similarities of body language or mannerisms to the human playing the game.

And yes that open leg in-dress shot did make me roll my eyes... but laugh at the same time =)

Yes indeed it is. But to be fair, that dress was from a DLC that came out months after the main game with sitting sequences were put in game.

Personally I'm glad they didn't make the dress a pantsuit or something just because someone might choose to wear it when talking to Miranda.

I was thinking of how she sits when talking to Garrus. An epic leg splay that would even shock a gynecologist. :pinched:

Depending on who you ask :P. My answer would be both. I said "man" because thats how my Shepard acts, besides in romancing scenes.. then shes all feminine and womanly..I just used man , like I said, because thats how she acts.
Edit: Not intending that my Shepard is a 'man' of how she acts, just decided to edit that in there after I re-thought my thinking

Women must behave like this, women must sit like this, women must dress like this, women must talk like this, women must look like this. Otherwise they are not women despite what gender they are born as. All because they do not follow the social norm they are turned into men and that is disgusting.

Same goes for men.
