Sweet jesus. Worst Customer Service Ever!

I just spent the last hour attempting to talk to the online reps about an issue many people are having to see if I could get some help. Apparently I need to learn how to speak better because I talked to two different agents and this is how the conversations went.

I bought and downloaded the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate fomr the Origin
Downloader. All of the Downloadable content is installed and active but
when I try to go to any of the DLC areas I get the "Unable to Load
Area" error and it just kicks me back to the main menu. I have had this
problem for quite some time.

Anytime I try to go to the download content areas on the world map. For
example if I click on Ostagar for the "Return to Ostagar" quest it will
just kick me to the main screen. Same happens if I try to start up a
new module such as "Witch Hunt" or "Golems of Amgarrak" they all say
"Unable to Load Area" and boot me to the main screen of the game.

The game itself is downloaded. All of the downloadable content is
downloaded and installed. The base game works just fine. All of my
modules are installed and activated. The problem is when I try to go to
these areas from within the game.

am afraid to inform you that the issue which you come up is related to
the in-game issue for the in-game issue I would rather suggest you to
kindly post your question in the game forum.

I cannot even fathom how it took about 25 minutes for that whole conversation. Each response from the agent was about 3-5 minutes delayed and when it took me 15 seconds to respond I got the "Yes please?" almost immediately lol. He suggested I post on the forums, so I am. Probably not exactly what he meant by forums, but hey.

Well damn. I tried to go back and look at my questions but I don't see it. Better yet when I clicked the "Don't see your question?" link it took me to a page all in German. My IP comes from Souther California. Bottom line is Agent #2 was even more oblivious and ended up scolding me then booting me from the session because I took too long to answer a question! ROFL.

I have tried the email cust service for other games and that works quite well. Lesson learned I guess and I just thought this was hilarious and it should be shared. Good day to you all. :D

Sounds like you might have a similar issue with DLC that I did, although I didn't have the Ultimate Edition. Did you ever have just the plain old DA:O? If so, you should have uninstalled that. If not, perhaps installing this beta patch will work for you as it did for me.

I have to agree the Customer Service is horrid with this game. My husband and I both had issues not once but over 7 times I would not use Cs at all! My husband figured out how to fix the issue by having to download and fix in the Dos then able to hit the Run and start it in there. If you want to know the Cs had banned one of my accounts because of there error I had to re-purchase this game close to 4 times because of ****** poor cs! When all it would have taken was from Cs to do the above...when they banned my account for what I was told to do for them I called to speak to a Manager and was told they would call me back after they got the call logs no one to this day has called ....fyi they are only allowed 5 mins per call is why you got disconnected (so you have to hang up and call them back if it takes longer....you think Bioware would have more of a service but they do not...makes you wonder how they are going to handle Swtor .....if you are still having issues I will get you the link on how to fix your game..
