Game crashes and closes when trying to return to normandy from planet casbin - Wiping out geth outposts (when pressing N). Never faced any problems whiloe playing the game till now.

- RAM - 3.49 GB
- Video - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, 896 MB, driver version - 260.99
- Sound - SRS Labs Audio Sandbox, driver version: 1.7.0.0
- OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- direct x: DirectX 9.0c (Oct2006)

Have an error messsage but cant seem to paste any screenshots here.

Getting a bad report index 100663295/305
and a bunch of other filename not found messages below it

Reload a previous save while still on Normandy and see if it loads. IF it does, then go try a different mission and see if you can get back. If you can then retry the issue mission and see if it still crashes.

Why you ask? To determine if you have a issue in the main game files or corruption of a single save.

Ok... have to play through a lot of the game. Hadnt made any other saves!

On PC you are only limited in save slots by the room on your harddrive. Save often and in different slots to save yourself big headaches. I generally finish a game with around 50-100 saves per character. If you don't want to keep that many then you should have at least 30 when you finished and you can cull them after you finish the game.

Ok.. did something on a hunch. Re-installed my sound driver. Problem solved! :-)
