Finally i made a great looking male shepard in me1 with i played the game trough with and was looking forward to import my save to me2.
After importing my save i saw that i had the correct level and my choices was correct, all the data was correct
But after going to the character screen i didnt se my me1 created face, there was only the default male shepard face !
i have countlessly tryed to redownload my save, even copy and paste but nothing has worked.
please someone help me, i want my me1 created face when replaying mass effect 2.

How many selections were on the face screen? You should have something like;
Accept Default Appearance (Sheploo)
Custom Appearance
Imported Appearance

i got the default face on both accepted default appearance and imported appearance.

Very strange. Unfortunately they have changed the values on the face codes, so its not a simple matter of copying the ME1 code into the ME2 code box.
If you want, email me the ME1 save file, and I'll try it my end, and if I get a successful import, will email the ME2 save file back

This is a known problem. In any case I have seen it is avoided by not skipping (e.g. hitting space bar) and sequences or conversation steps during the introduction and prologue. Also, doing so prevents not getting bonus resources for imported characters.

If that doesn't work for you, it's new to me. Good luck.

oh my... i have used mod manager to skip the intro videos, going to reinstall me2 mod manager and enable introvideos, will post results here.

I cant re enable the intro movies, i think i have to reinstall me2, but that i have to do later on, too little time on hand, thanks for the help guys.

Listed in this thread, are the movies you can skip, and still be able to keep an imported face.
