This is such a random question.

It seems that most of us are playing humans and elves.  Has anyone actually played as a dwarf and romanced Alistair.  Short and dumpy.......hmmmmmm.....it would definately be a different take on the whole Alistair romance.

No descrimination to  Short and Dumpy.....that's how my mom refers to herself....and I love my mom...she cute like a dwarf. Posted Image

To my knowledge, none of the romances have any race restrictions. Urgh... I'm sorry, but dwarf women? Seriously?

I thought Druna, the dwarf girl who wanted to go to the Circle, was very cute.

I never really understood why there is all this "ooh, its cool to cross breed Elves and Men", but not dwarves and men. I mean, I know its because Tolkein had a few half elves and no half dwarves, but that's entirely a result of dwarves having a completely different cosmological origin. They aren't Children of Iluvatar, unlike Men and Elves. That doesn't apply anywhere else...

Dwarves are not hideous nor are they significantly out of the realm of human compatibility. There are humans that are short and stout who get married..

I'll admit, I'm prejudiced from dwarves in other worlds. The ones here are remarkably human-like, as are the elves.

Thank you for the responces....No female wants to be thought as short and dumpy....I actually, thought it would all seem funny...to listen to npc comments and such...there is so much estrogen and even some tetosterine out there on how to stay with Alistair.  It was one of those What if questions....

I had a whole ummmm ick thought.....Zevran's tent scene is a little more explicit than Alistairs...and Zevran's Bi....Can we say hunka hairy love!?!?!

I think I am going to go spew my guts now.....so not a pretty picture. Sorry.Posted Image

My first play through I used a dwarf, one that happens to resemble me. Alistair flirted with me and we would've gotten somewhere if I didn't kill Isolde.

I did romance Zevran though. I was still hoping that Zev's sex scene would be naughtier.

More power to you...you make a cute dwarf....why did you kill Isolde? and Wow...such a strong reaction from Alistair.....keep us abreast as to how your romance is going with Zevran.  Other than jus sligh flirting I don't know much about Zevran.

The dwarven females in Dragon Age are more cute by leaps and bounds compared to their typical depiction. I'd even venture to say that I find many of them attractive!

So very true...Pehaps Bioware was just a tad prejudiced when they created DAO (love the game, don't get me wrong).... that we only wanted to romance the stereo typical character.

If nothing else....perhaps Bioware will give us more romance options with better dialogue and choice endings in DAO2.....given all the romance postings.  One can only hope.Posted Image

Alot of it really has to do with conventional attraction. Small and broad doesn't normally fit the description of what people want out of a potential mate, let alone if said person only made it to your waist.

But if it's so wrong, then how can imagining Hespith and Branka together feel so right?
