My big problem is simply the armour, why can't they do it similar to the Genlocks where they had very little armour? Genlocks where awesome
The armor for the Genlocks was actually something I hated. I'd prefer that the Darkspawn as a whole have some half-assed armor that isn't so spiky but also looks like it could serve a function in battle.
Primitive to go with how bestial they are, but still relatively effective so that they're not exposed everywhere.
Oh they don't need to wear a full set of armor. But something more than what they are wearing, and something less spiky. It should cover a good portion of the body and it should vary between Genlocks. Like Genlock grunt A would have different armor than Genlock Grunt B, and C would be different from them both.
Like I said, primitive and half-assed but still maintaining an element of effectiveness in battle.
