I bought the game when it first came out through Steam and played through it and everything worked fine.  No problems, ran smoothly.  I decided to start another runthrough and I've been having some weird problems.

When I started a new game, on the dialogue wheel instead of the parapharses that its suppose to say to give you an idea of what will happen, it just says "Missing Paraphrase".  I can still select them and hear Hawke's voice, but his mouth doesn't move.
There's also no text at all in the journal menus, but again I can still select them.  Its like the text is invisiable.  The text and icons in the equipment screen work fine though, as well as all the gameplay menues.
There are also no subtitles at all for any dialogue.

Here is my computer information.
Manufactuer: Hewlett-Packard
Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU  Q 720 @  1.60GHz
RAM: 6.00GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

The game should be up to date through Steam.  Again, everything worked fine when I played through it a while back.
If anyone could help me out with this Iwould greatly appericate it!

use steam to check the integrity of your game. It sounds like a corruption or a file went missing.

Um, how exactly do I do that?

From the library screen, right click to bring up menu, then click on properties, then local file tab and the button is verify local cache integrity.
