Yeah, pointless deaths that serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever beyond achieving that cheap sense of the overrated "drama" and telling the writers that their work was just a waste of time for everyone!

Maybe Garrus will have to impregnate Aria with a questionably evil godbaby to save his and Shepard's life.

How is it a waste of time? Youre not making any sense (as usual).

And you consdier the childish, flowery happy approach better ...why? Because of fanboyish obsessivness? A sense of self-entiltedment?

I cannot help but observe that you exhibit a tendency to call those that protest against your opinion "fanboys".
Frankly, it's getting old.

Anyhow, let's not dwell on petty animousity, there is a much better discussion on the flow, so we should simply agree on us being in disagreement in our entitled opinions. Peace!

If this is true than YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Goodbye Garrus you were awesome but somebody gotta take the fall.

(Serious mode: ON)
Yeah i don't believe this. Bioware knows how easily their fans can get butthurt and Garrus one of the most popular characters in the series so I don't think his gonna die. (Unless they want to kill a popular character!)

Tell me, then. What's the point in killing off a character by shooting them in the head or something like it for no good reason? Beyond that pathetic sense of drama or tension everyone claims it will have.

Oh, I don't want characters to die in a wasteful way. Surely I'm a fanboy.

That would also make you a raging hypocrite.

I really don't see how OXM would know about this because why the hell would BioWare spoil such a main plot point like that, if true? Doesn't make sense.

Take this for a grain of salt.

I'm really hoping that there will be deaths where Shepard must kill one of his own squad not because of indoctrination, but more like a Wrex situation that happens from a certain choice you make. This would really make me have some emotion especially if it' a character I really enjoy like Garrus.

IIRC, OXM has used this trick before. They implied that might happen in one of those tricks to boost readership, and now they're stuck with it.

It would be very dramatic, but investing that much plot into a character that could die in ME2 would be a mistake.

(to be continued.)

SHOCK AND AWE.  They wanted to get a rise out of their readers, so they speculated hardcore and printed the most hardcore of their speculations.

Are you going to pretend that he's been alive throughout ME2?

Spoilers dude, seriously. That game only came out like two weeks ago.

That said, It would be really fitting for a guy like Garrus to "Take one for the team". He'd probably see it as a kind of penance for failing his team on Omega.

I could also see them giving him/someone else a "Wash Death" where it only serves to show how high the stakes are. Someone mentioned Kai Leng or something getting the drop on him? I'm fine with either, as long as they're implimented well.

In that case, wouldn't they announce the reveal of Tali's facemodel and end up printing a giant question mark?

Garrus always strikes me as a guy who will go out in a blaze of glory. I'd say it's been built up since the moment we met him in ME1. He's too awesome to live.

Imagine that. Brandon Keener's voice going BANZAI!!! It will be epic!!!

Come to think of it, I think Wrex will die to. Likely sacrificing himself to ensure the future of the Krogans.

"I've lived and done enough in this world. May we meet and fight together again in the next! Shepard."

[KABOOOOOOM]

"WREEEEEEEEX!!!"

Killing Garrus and Wrex will be the surest way to make the majority of their fans cry like little babies. It's just too tempting for BioWare.

In ME2 Garrus survived a gunship rocket to the head and getting shot in the stomach on the SM. I'm sure he can take anything the Reapers can throw at him. Either way, giving a LI an inescapable death (excepting Thane, who we knew was dying from the start) is something that I'm sure Bioware isn't going to be stupid enough to do.

That logic doesn't really follow Cthulu42... I mean they bioware kills off important people to the character all the time.

If Garrus dies like a boss, I'll be happy. He's the ultimate bro. He should die like one. Shepard too for that matter.

Important people, yeah. Squadmates, no. How many teammates have we had who died no matter what we do?

P.S. Why does everybody spell "Cthulhu" wrong?
