I know DAII has some references to Dalish, Amell and Monarch Wardens, but what references are there to the other possible origins and/or endings? I'm particularly interested in whether becoming Chancellor, Teyrn or Elven Bann triggers a special mention of the Warden or not, because they sadly enough didn't in Awakening.

Mage boon gets a mention by King Alistair I believe. If you say that it wasn't the maker who stopped the blight then Elthina references the race of the Warden.

I'm not aware of anything specific for City Elves or Dwarvish wardens

I haven't encountered anything specific to City Elf wardens, beyond a reference by Grand Cleric Elthina to the Hero of Ferelden being an elf.

There's not even flags in the DA2 world vault for the teyrnir, city elf and dwarf boons, so it's not even possible for DA2 to reference them. Only the mage, Dalish elf and the chancellor boons have flags, but I don't think the chancellor boon gets a reference. The Dalish elf and mage boons get mentioned though.

There is nothing specfic to Surana. You only get the references to the Warden being a mage and maybe an elf.

I want to say it was Corff the Bartender in the Hanged man who mentioned to Hawke that the King of Ferelden had an Elven mistress - my Mahariel - which I thought was pretty cool.

I was severely disappointed by the lack of mentions for my Dwarf Noble Xanthos Aeducan beyond Elthina. Bioware's on an anti-Dwarf agenda!

Thorin didn't get anything from Elthina.

Leliana mentions you're a good queen/king.
Coff mentions it at the bar, he also mentions if you've got Leliana or Zevran on the side.
A few people in the bar itself references it if you've got somebody on the side.
Bodahn mentions it.

I think you have to pick the paraphrase that says "The maker didn't save Ferelden, the hero of Ferelden did" when you first speak with her in Act 1. You can't do any of the investigate options, and I'm pretty sure it's the lower right hand option.

I know that by doing that for mages and elves she says "Even a mage/Even an elf"

Yeah, that's the one.

I just wouldn't have minded someone lamenting that the Hero of Ferelden was "a bloody knife-ear" or something to that effect.

I got the one from Anders that mentions the Hero of Ferelden being a mage. My warden was en elf mage.

Then, there were the references from Leliana, Alistair and possibly Zevran.

I'm currently doing an Amell playthrough in Origins for a few more references, even if they're minor.

King Alistair states I have to get back to the old ball and chain ( Female queen warden). Teagan states that Alistair should know not to call her that. Alistair states that he is not afraid of her even though she killed the Archdemon.

Cullen mentions the female Warden if she's a she. Alistair mentions no matter what, if he isn't a drunk I guess. Or dead...Meriil and Anders say the Dalish Warden values his/her privacy when your out and about once. The Sanders and his Pa mention the warden.

I was really hoping that someone would mention my Warden being both an elf and a mage, yet saving the country. I mean, seriously, that's the most hated combination! And of course, she missed out on the references to the human mage, because they were Amell-related (mentions from Leandra, Cullen, etc).

There are a some references to the Dalish Warden whenever Marethari or Merrill mention the Eluvian. Also, Merrill has a banter with Anders about them.

Do they? When? The first game i imported had a Cousland Warden but I don't recall any mention of him. It could be because he wasn't the King though. The closest I came to hearing of my warden was when Isabella mistakenly said the name when trying to remember the author of the Tome of Koslun.

I am sad that there aren't any specific references to the city elf and dwarf Wardens. My Cousland was mentioned by Alistair, Amell by Leandra, and Merrill talks about Mahariel on several occasions. I guess the Suranas also get the short end of the stick.

I was most interested in the Dalish elf references - in Merrill's Act III conversation, she saw Mahariel in the marketplace instead of Tamlen, and referred to him as 'the lost Warden.' I wonder if that's because he went through the mirror with Morrigan, or if that always happens if you have a Dalish Warden? Anyone know?

As someone else said, Merill will make mention of Tamlen and the mirror from the Dalish opening no matter what, but if you imported a game where you were a Dalish she'll also mention your character (by their last name) and say something about how you had to leave and wondered what ever happened to you, and hearing that you defeated the blight.

She will also have, I think its with Anders, a banter where she'll talk about meeting Duncan and saying something about his beard and thinking squirrels were nesting in his cheeks or something like that.

There are no plot flags from Witch Hunt carried over into DA2 so it's just if you have a Dalish Warden.

Merrill always says she doesn't know where the dalish warden is, even if you chose to go back to your clan in the epilogue.

Surana is the elf mage last name.  The Amell is the human mage and does get a mention by Hawkes family.
