If im posting this uncorrectly, sorry, and my english its not so good, im from Argentina

The problem its, i have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bits
Gforce 7025/Nforce 630a
Speedy Internet
2.71 Ghz
1 GB Ram
Screen LG

and Neverwinter Nights 1 runs me Prefectly, but i cant install "any" update, even the 1.69
1.68 and 69 says to me then its not possible install the update with my NWN version
i have downloaded the Diamond version in English

and now, i have to reinstall everything, and now (maybe its solved) says to me: You cant run this in Windows 7, compatibility issue

Please help, im excited about the last update but i cant install it!

Is this a recent GoG version or other?  Torrent versions are unsupported so I hope it isn't from there.  The latest GoG versions have already been patched to v1.69 but earlier versions still need the Critical Rebuild.

In any case, if you need it, use the Critical Rebuild for v1.69 linked in this thread. (That thread also explains how to set compatibilty, btw.)  The auto-updater itself hasn't worked for years.

PD: i downloaded this game from a very good thopic (i dont know what forum) but not from a torrent

PD2: what i have to download, the plain version or what?, because i have diamond (includes the original game + the 2 others)

You need something called Critical Rebuild and both the 1.66 and 1.69 hot update. As for where you can find those now, I don't know. There are recent threads with that very question as the main topic, so it could pay to do a search in order to find the links. Once your game is installed, you run both exe files one after the other, 1.66 and then 1.69, and that would be it.
