At least it hasn't descended into the inevitable yet.

heh, I thought they were pretty predictable. we tend to play what we relate to more, after all isn't it why people wanted m/m relationships in a first place? because heterosexual setup wasn't working for them? or that even some of the ardent supporters of everyone is bi, might not be experiencign that content themselves? (Ididn't realize you had to want something for your self in order to support others having acess to it? )
personaly, I'm a completionist. I won't go out of my way to play something that's not normaly my cup of tea... unless it nets me new and interesting content that's not available in any other way. I don't like modding my character's sexualities (call me weird, but it feels like too much of a lie) so if the only way to experience content I'm interested in is to play a male? then I'll play a male.

Not that I won't watch them on Youtube if I get bored. Ideally ones Collider has tampered into masterful pieces of humour, along with every other romance (And a few he'll create).

NO! I refuse to take part in that in Dragon Age 2 and I won't in Mass Effect for any of my male Shepard's. And no, I'm not a guy so don't even go there. I'm female.
Your first response to the suggestion of male/male is "NO!", your profile pic is Sheploo, and you have a Miranda Lawson support banner. Sorry, just didn't strike me as femalish?

However, I've already made Sheps that will be gay and bisexual once I heard that you could do S/S 'mance.
I have plans to make a Shep for every romance and romance combination (including a Kelly faithful file and excluding ones where cheating on or cheating on someone with Tali is involved...I could only make one faithful file with her)...so I'm going to do the same for all of the ME3 'mances...

What does this have to do with anything? I'm female, but I have three male Shepards. I didn't suddenly grow a penis, I don't think having gay and lesbian Shepards is going to cause some seismic shift in my psyche either.

The thing is that I fully expected most of the replies from straight gamers to be: "No, thank you!" It's kind of cool to see that at least some can enjoy roleplaying aspects without feeling inescure, etc., etc. It's no different then when I play a femShep despite being a guy: I did it mostly to see the differences between the two versions of playthroughs, etc.

I'm also a straight female yet my celibate femshep will be all up on Ashley or Miranda if given a chance. Also, my very first playthrough was with default Sheploo and I had no issue with romancing women with him.

Wow, that's going to be a lot of Sheps. Both genders and classes, too? I was going to try doing an alphabetical run of Shepards, with names beginning A to Z, alternating genders each one. I did Andrea, Bruce, and Catherine so far. Next up is Daniel, I think. I might try to incorporate your idea, it sounds....interesting.
