Just got this from another site about the Liara Statue with which the Liara Picture came from.
With a reply from a Kotobukiya Rep 

" These are images of an old, unapproved paintmaster and do not accurately portray this upcoming release. We have made adjustments to the sculpt and paint.   "

So there might be some more hope for this statue actually looking like liara..

Its come from a Kotobukiya forum, On a Statue Forum Website. And they have all been reputable in all there other response's. So im taking it for the benifit of the doubt and hoping for a betterr looking statue up coming

As a person spent too much time with Photoshop I'd say...
- make forehead smaller, because current state makes nose and lips (which were already made small by anime interpretation) look tiny
- add freckles... or any other fan-loved detail :-P
- remove nipple-like connection of lines, or it will turn in meme about statue.

Oversexualising? Dunno, maybe someone will like it as it is. I'm not into female bodies so can't judge.

I actually have no problem with her pose - I work at a police department and that's the standard position for holding your firearm when not aiming at anyone (pointed down in front of you w/ two hands, aka the "Weaver stance").  It's her massive mammaries that make the position...unfortunate.

I think we all understand what a giant-titted statue is trying to accomplish. I don't know that we have to appreciate it.

I like the bishoujo concept. Not a huge fan of liara but some of the other statues are very nice.

My favorite is Rogue
