Big breasted women in japan, when not used for echii reasons is usually to represent "stamina, and strength." Remeber Tifa from FF7? That is why she had big breasts. It plays into her brawler character.

Are you sure you're not over analyzing things? I'm pretty sure for most men it's always just basically boiled down to "Durr, boobies! Duh, me likey! Moar bigger gud!".

At least that's the impression most men have given off to me in my 3+ decades on this planet.  .. I just don't see it being any more "complex" than that.

No it actually is that. Its not just limited to japan either, their are legitimate cultural reasons in that regard. In a visual medium such as anime or videogames, how a character looks is says a lot about the character. From clothing, to skin tone, it is all a factor. Just look at say... Cowboy bebop, or Inuyasha. They both heavily characterize their characters using visual before a single word spoken. Compare Faye Valentine to... Sango. They both are a bit heavy in the chest, but they both have different reasons for it as a character

How these parameters are defined depends on the who, what and why, but it is there.

Although you are right as well. Sometimes it is just "hur dur boobies"  I just wanted to point out its not as simple as people like to paint it.

 If it were just a statue, I'd say not bad.  But it's not Liara unless it's supposed to be what she looked like at the age of 13 or whatever that would be for an Asari.  

Which now that I think about it is also disturbing considering she looks like she's posing for a Marilyn Manroe poster.   No it's not a dress but the pose is pretty darn close with her coat tail flying up.

I was talking more about blacks, but every foreigner is hit with the same thing.

I'm not excusing them, but America and other western countries aren't innocent of racism even now.
My point was that even if they are a bit racist, that does not excuse the racism here and the blatant slurs,
