Won't buy it, but I don't really see the big deal. It just looks funny to me, I can imagine having the same reaction if the same was done to Jack, oh man, hahaha. I know his style, so I already pictured what the outcome would be, either way, don't like, don't buy it. Complaining about the statue not representing Liara won't change what's already there, maybe someone will make a statue representing what you personally like in the future.

Honestly guys, most of you act like little kiddies, complaining about a product you don't even want to buy... and if you don't even want to buy it, why are you so interested in it anyways?

Perhaps they would've otherwise bought a Liara statue...?

From the article in the OP :  "Her bustiness is also a lot less apparent"

DAMN what did it look like before?  Those things are as big as her head.

And who pushes their boobs together when holding their gun?  Seems impracticle to me.

I'm looking at the original design and I honestly can't notice a difference. At all.

As for the boob squshing, yeah, I'm looking at the artwork this was based on. Let's just say the sculptor took a bit of "artistic license" in that regard.

It's a shame too. An accurate sculpute based on the orignial artwork would've been great.

....

Still disgusts me.

I'm still waiting for some decent figures to ad to my collection of game statues that actually look like the characters from the game.... Any day now...any day....

In ME1 Liara explicitly states that she is nothing like her mother.
That statue shows at least 2 parts of her are identical to her mother.

Well no matter which Liara face Bioware uses in ME3(ME1,ME2,or LotSB) it will be recieved better than the statues face.Maybe the statue looks better in person?

Don't like. At. All.

She has the face of a child and boobs that are about to burst. It's just plain creepy and not Liara... and I'm not a Liara fan, either.

Also, when in the hell did Liara become a sex icon. She's just an alien video game character..is anyone else finding this whole thing a little weird?

to each their own i suppose, right?...

Hate is such a strong word... but thats the only word I can think of that accurately describes what I think of this garbage statue.

That is much better looking. The color scheme is very LotSB ish. I like it. And yes im still a legit adult ty.

And btw ive seen plenty girls with a face like that in their 20s, who are you all looking at? Druggies? Seems that many of you live to nit-pick, but then again, this is BSN.

And btw Liara has been growing up during the games, makes sence. And dont give me some shpeel about about her intelligence and maturity blah blah, Shes still smart and sofisticated even if she isent so virginal like in ME1. I like how she has changed from her simple 1d nerd character to the complex and head smashing battlenerd that she is now, and I think a little bit of sexyness shows she is comfortable with that aspect and thus more grown up. Others may not agree, but thats my 2 cents on that.I just think that some want to keep her character in a box in a way. /tangent off

It isn't nitpicking when you generally don't like obvious features on there that doesn't fit the character and oversexualizes the character far more than the game does.

Yes, it looks better, (even looks a bit like Liara) but she still looks like an eight years old. Thanks, but no thanks.

I hope we will get a realistic looking Liara statue/figure/whatever

Oddly enough, this statue looks more like something that would be made after ME1 Liara, not ME2 Liara.

And, I find your statement about twenty-year olds with a face like this completely impossible to believe. Considering my EIGHT-YEAR-OLD COUSINS have more mature-looking faces than that.

Not really interested in the Liara statue.

But I will be picking up the Normandy models (one in each livery) once they come out.

Eh....still not a fan. The skill it took to craft the statue is certainly remarkable but I'm definitely not a fan of this interpretation.
