Army of Arcane Warriors vs army of Templars, who will win?

 Just a thought, what if the Circle Magis get access to Arcane Warrior knowledge (through the Warden of course), and then they rebel against the Templars, who will possibly win?

It is an intersting if Bioware ever want to make such story line...

Templar draining mana through succesfull melee attacks in which Arcane Warrior can avaoid it. Templar can however use Clease Aura to debuff and then rely on Holy Smite. 

But Arcane Warriors may finish them off before (or after) they got debuffed (buffing back) and Holy Smite effected on a single mage and in area effect, the other Arcane Warriors may be at the safe distance and come to the rescue.

Templars, without the Templar abilities are only "guys in metal armor", when they finish usig their ability they just a normal warriors, While Arcane Warrior is both mage and warrior. Even got debuffed, Arcane Warriors still can use hand weapons and armor, buff back and casting spells. Shimmering shield have high resistence, Holy Smite only deal spirit damage.

In fact...i still don't get it why the Templars are superior than mages and mages fear Templars? I can beat Templars as a normal mage before...just fire ball them all...or using lighting spells like chain lightning that drain their stamina so they cannot use their talents...

i'd say the mages are outnumbered by the templars...
there are templars everywhere where a chantry is and even
if they don't have to fight magicians they could...
i also think that the templars are stronger and more influent than shown
i imagine cleanse aura to be a sustained ability and to somewhat disable
every mage from doing magic... except for bloodmagic perhaps
which would force more and more mages, apostates, maleficars to make us of it

Cleanse Aura only effect anyone nearby, not the Templar themselves. Mental Fortress only can neglect few spells. Sure Arcane Warriors may cast some thing on the Templar before charge into the battle such as Lighting spells to drain their stamina, making them cannot use Templar ability.

I see there are a lot of advantage for Arcane Warriors against Templars, numbers doesn't count.

Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage even more powerful...
