I bought ME2 on Steam and got 3 keys with it (promo, Cerberus and game). Using and activating them is a really confusing thing. Being connecting to Cerberus Network from the game I entered my EA account information and activated the Cerberus key (I'm smart enough to note a name similarity here), this went fine. Then I clicked "New Content Available" menu option to get DLC and was thrown to Bioware Social Network with another authentication request. Since nobody mentioned that I can login using my EA account (or at least I didn't see this) I registered a new account, activated "Promo Key" and got DLC which I downloaded and installed. Now the funny part: game refuses to authenticate DLC since it uses the wrong account (the EA one), when I switch to the BioWare acc I get asked for cerberus key which is rejected since it was used for EA account. So, now I have EA account with activated Creberus but w/o DLC and BioWare one with DLC but without Cerberus. Whichever account I choose I cannot use the DLC I bought. This is sad.
I really don't get why you, guys, did it so complicated but is it possible to merge these two accounts into one and get: a) activated cerberus and;
the DLC? I'd prefer to keep my EA account (and now I'm from the BioWare one). If you need private conversation you may use mail used for registartion of any of the two accounts.Thank you.
