The M rating is to discourage young readers from reading things they shouldnt - the specific warnings are for embellishment LOL
You need to read it and tell me what the horror theme is I was warning LOL
I will be reading and commenting on submissions shortly - I am out of sorts atm and cannot look at a screen for more that 30mins without getting sick.... since my work is maintaining our website and business its kinda difficult - hopefully Ill be better soon.

@ Tryynity - I hope you get better soon! That sucks...
@ Bloodsong - I still haven't got the hang of the whole 'write-ahead' thing. Gotta look into that.
Also, a quick update on my Once Upon a Time stories:
Once Upon a Time: Dog
Once Upon a Time: Sten of the Beresaad
Both are more serious than the previous lighter toned entries in the series. I think I'm done with serious ones, though. The rest should be light-hearted after these.
Also, a quick link to my ZevThread prompt (inspired by Dre and her talk of Assassin's Creed, actually
)
Once Upon a Time Crossover: A Tale of Two Assassins
I've been elbow deep in outlining Rise of the Wolf, and will be updating that as normal on Sunday (and possibly tomorrow as well, depending on how much writing I can get done in the meantime).

tryyn... oh? i thought all the young readers went eagerly lookin for all the naugy M-rated stuff they weren't supposed to read. :X
no rush, tryyn. i have been horrid at keeping up with everyone's writing. so many stories, so little time :/ and then more on the zev thread. oh dear!
tk... i think that only happened because... well, for a long while, i was working on writing down stuff from my dalish elf's story. i happened to play bannon's game during that, and then i started writing down scenes from it, before it was ready to be 'published.' actually, all those scenes are from far ahead in the story anyway.
and then i started an rp of Origins with Bannon (still before valorien's story was done), which focussed my brain back on his beginnings, so i started writing those. and i didn't start publishing any of those til i got my blog and forum together ready to be started simultaneously.
so, basically, i started with a big backlog, and have been keeping my writing ahead of my posting since. i don't think there's any other way to 'write ahead' except to write and not post it immediately when it's done. though there's not much fun in that.
errant knight, on the other hand, likes to write out the whole 'book' and not publish any parts until it is all done. :X (if i tried that, it'd be years before anyone saw anything from me!)

@ Bloodsong - yeah, I remember when DA2 came out and errant had to go back and do some revisions for lore changes (especially for Anders). Poor errant!

You know, this thread was forcing me to write more. Do we have to stop it? Especially now that I finally managed to publish something in time?
Here's the link - Cold Blood
The saddest and most difficult story I ever wrote. Pathetic as it is to admit that, I really cried when I was writing it, and I teared up again when I was readin it now. Even if it ends with fluff. You have been warned.

An update has been posted for Rise of the Wolf.
Direct link to Rise of the Wolf: When the Dead Return
Warning: the story takes a dark turn in this chapter, and there is graphic description of violence.
Link to the entire story is in my sig. (please read it?)
*sigh* this is what I get for writing a story that's not based on a popular - or any - character from the game. Lowest readership numbers ever.
Oh, well. I like writing it anyway! Plus it never hurts to use a novella to limber up to writing a novel, right? Right??

Welp I have failed for the last two weeks. *sighs* That's life. Good thing this isn't a paid gig. Actually though I've written, just haven't posted anything because I used the oportunity of not being able to post (no internet till now) to work on some of my future chapters (well ahead of where I am now in my stories).

@ Dre - No internetz? *gasp* *thud*
You will still post links to your stuff once it's available, though, right? Please?

I know it just about killed me. I kept thinking of ideas and reaching for the keyboard to do some research and going, "Duh, nooooooo!"
I have a couple of link threads and story threads on BSN. And of course there is the fanfiction thread. This thread is over and done in two days so... unless the title gets changed and it becomes the writers challenge never ending thread (yeah that's not what I think the title of the thread should be just the gist of it). haha! I could get into that

My week ends today 30 November - so here is my last submission for the challenge.
I have totally re-written this chapter from the original I had because it felt awkward.
Also I worked it and worked it to try and work into everything I am learning from my Beta-readers and commenters, so hopefully there is some improvement beginning to show...
Zevran's Symphony - Part 1 Erase - Chapter 9, Poisoned

@tkl -- yeah... and i told errant to just ignore da2 if that worked better. of course... i don't have a lot of respect for da2. :X
and i will read your story; i need to learn more about dalish lore. but i have to work it in somewhere!
@dre -- dreeeeeeee.... you lie! you were out playing ac iii, admit it! :X okay, maybe not. you could write without internet. just save the files on your computer. or... you were... without computer? ::tries to grasp that concept::
@tryyn -- pfft, my week still ends on friday :X butbutbut... great job getting done on a wednesday! zevran's symphony is up to 9 now? i need to catch up.
okay, this week... (at the actual end of it!)... i will have part two of the witch of the wilds post B&Z, part one of the 'bannon & zevran ...and valorien' thought experiment (for the zevran prompt)... AND um, possibly i'll be able to type in some of the next part of B&Z.
and after THAT... hooo! i get to go back to being lazy and only posting ever OTHER week! :X
maybe.
if you guys want to continue a post-a-week pact, please feel free! i don't think i can keep up. :/
it was a pleasure working with yas. and i got some insight into my work habits, lengths of writings and word count... yes, it was a good job all around!
