No one else has the reaper IFF, that allows safe passage through the Omega 4 relay.

Firstly, Shepard does.  And mine at least would certainly be willing to share with Council, Alliance, STG or the adorable new Shadowbroker.

Secondly, you don't need to be able to go through the relay to stop everyone else going through it.

If I am to understand your complaint correctly, the onus lies on Aria and no one else. Mac Walters confirmed that "Invasion" takes place "after Arrival and before Conviction", I believe, unless I am recalling his line incorrectly.

If so, Shepard's a bit predisposed. Aria's made a decision and will have to live with the consequences.

Nope,it can be replicated fairly quickly.

Makes we wonder why we din't send a fleet to attack the Collectors.

Good grief.

EDI sent TIM the schematics on the IFF. It says so in the game. Therefore, TIM has all he needs to reproduce as many copies of the device as he wants.

If the man can build EDI, it's a pretty safe bet he can copy an IFF.

If I had to venture a guess, I would say because TIM didn't have a fleet, and wanted the base for himself.

That and a fleet in the Terminus system would attract attention, considering that someone like Aria was able to track the Normandy, a stealth frigate, the moment it entered the solar system.

Right all, Suposition, We know that he has more Ships maybe not an entire fleet, but sending five extra Ships along the normandy could have prevented the Crash on the Base.

Which of course is a cheap plot device we're never told why a backwater pirate station can track one of the galaxy most advanced Ship.

Cerberus' actions don't appear to be noticably covert, and the Alliance and Council have no excuse for not knowing the significance of the Omega relay.  Them allowing Cerberus, a declared enemy of theirs, to get set up there is just stupid.

I think, with Cerberus and experiments, you have to keep observer bias in mind. Yes, it does seem like a lot of their experiments fail tremendously...but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that there's no real reason for us to hear about the experiments they do that work out perfectly.

Assuming that the Alliance is even aware of the importance of the Omega 4 relay - which is a big leap - it's not like they can really do anything to stop Cerberus from going into the relay as they please. They can't follow them inside without the IFF, and the Omega 4 relay is deep in Terminus territory.

No.

He confirmed that Deception is between those 2, not Invasion.

Yeah, because the Normandy never needs to stop near a planet or a fuel station to either refuel or discharge the core or something...

Why bother to send more people, if you're sending the best there already as a strike team?

Cause that ship didn't activate it's stealth measures since there was no need for it?

So what were you going to do. Tell the Alliance or Council after you destroyed a Batarian system that a terrorist organization has the resources to send a small fleet through the Omega 4 relay and set up bases in a very very hostile environment for the sole purpose of investigating the Collectors a formerly believed myth.

That isn't going to go over so well.

It was never a plot hole. TIM likely programmed EDI to send Cerberus any new tech or knowledge Shepard acquires through his adventures. Cerberus likely had the info on the IFF the instant they got it on the Normandy.
