Who would you choose for your companions in a future DA?

I'd be sorely tempted to either go all dwarf (Varric, Sigrun and Oghren (not real thrilled about Oghren)) or all elf (Ariane, Merrill and Zevran).

Oooh, I forgot about origin companions. Team dwarf would have to be Gorim, Sigrun and Varric, definitely.

Leliana, Isabela and Bethany. I'm tempted to have Morrigan (*koff*) but Bethany's spell tree is more practical in some ways.

Although...if I made Team Bewb, it would be Isabela, Bethany and Morrigan.

Isabela and Zevran, no contest. But in the last slot I'd have almost anyone - Sten, Shale, Morrigan, Loghain, Sigrun, Anders (not Janders), Justice, Fenris, Merrill, Aveline, Carver, Finn.

If I had to choose, then probably Merrill for the banter. I can just see her being baffled by Isabela and Zev's innuendo-laiden banter.

The team choice would really depend on who the PC was Isabela would defiantely get one slot and probably Leliana but the last would be dependent on who the PC was.  For example Hawke would definately take Bethany.  But one of my Wardens would probably bring Morrigan or Wynne.  But as we are likely getting an all new PC then it's really up in the air.

And as much as I personally would like to see more of Alistair or Fenris, in my universe they belong only with the Warden and Hawke.

Same as my favorite DA2 team: Flynn Hawke with Isabela, Varric and Bethany

In a game without Hawke I don't think I'd want any old companions back. It would be awful to have an old LI back without the person they were romancing. Or friend for that matter.

Except maybe Shayle as a dwarf. That would be entertaining and a fresh look at an old face.
