I have not stated that any character is bi-sexual. I have stated that in ME 3 the characters will be "Shep-sexual": That is a big difference. If you want your play-through to follow your cannon playthrough, that's fine, but if others want something else, that is fine too, it is your and their preference, and is not cannon to the game.
ME 1 has only three options depending on gender: Kaiden or Ash. or Liara or no interest. Choices were expanded in ME 2 to include new characters (and includes Kelly for either gender)..
ME 3 includes a bit more. So, what is the problem? That they may include Kaiden or Ash as s/s romances? If you play straight, your character would notice no difference and that leaves your position on the topic a matter of personal preference and exclusion towards other's preferences.
I'm sorry, but that logic does not wash in these forums.

My problemisn't s/s romances. It's your arguement that lack of evidence is evidence that certain characters are bi, or rather Shep-sexual.

Impossible. Again, setting it up so you're always right. My evidence is more than enough, since you have none. Try bringing some, then we'll see about anti-evidence.
I'm not claiming anything.
I don't know if the former companions are heterosexual or bisexual...the evidence points to either as possible.
I can claim they aren't homosexual.
You are claiming that they are heterosexual. You could be right but you could be wrong...you are assuming they are straight b/c they expressed interest in the opposite sex but it's still a possibility that any of them could be interested in the same sex as well.

why oh why do you persist on this "what if" argument, as IF it's any good. Or of any use. I'll repeate this for you. If things have no evidence we reject them until they do. We do not disregard all the contrary evidence in order to keep up this illusion of the "what if"
Here. I'll see if i can simplfy this. The Earth is flat.
Do you believe that? I mean, despite contrary evidence? it could still POSSIBLY be flat, maybe its an illusion, or maybe scientists are just lying to us.
If you believe in your argument, you have to believe in the above.

There are many homosexuals who live lives their parents taught them was "normal" - then, realizing who they always were, but could never personally accept - they "come out" at a later age.
Just because Kaidan doesn't tell you about a sexual encounter he had at the age of 12 with another boy - doesn't mean he didn't have one (it doesn't mean he did either - Bioware gets to choose). But this call of "weak storytelling" is a baseless claim of pure opinion.
He only states that Liara is beautiful... you know what, how many straight guys stand around talking with their buddies and say: "Man, that woman is beautiful." and not "I'd totally hit that, she's hot."
And don't give me this superior officer crap - the NPCs are already far too familiar with Shepard.
As for the young lady he became close to - he never says love, he never says date, he never says sex - he says they were close. For those of you who are straight - many gay men (but certainly not all) form tight knit groups of females - or the "f_g hag" for a crude term for a single female friend.
----
Please admit you just don't want homosexuals in your games. At least be honest with the people you're talking with.

And now that they are saying that they are bi when they have no given any evidence of not being bi beforehand until Mass Effect 3, cause you know Mass Effect 1 might as well last a three weeks or so. That is why I wanted evidence of them, saying that they are one percent straight straight, no exceptions ( evidence of them turning down the same sex Shepard or showing disgust/being open-minded yet not his/her thing). But none of you given any such evidence (and Zeel insulting those that have what ifs). You think science and technology got to what it is today by not exploring what ifs? Or find out that Global Warming is bunch of BS by taking it in face value?

Well whatever man. I mean, even when i'm not being homophobic, you are seeing "homophobia". What am I to do with that? Maybe you are just super sensitive about this stuff. If I wanted to be homophobic, I could very easily be it (probably get banned, but that hasnt stopped me before, has it?)

If you believe in your argument, you have to believe in the above.
I'd love to know where you got this idea of logic and debate from.
Just because one person believes in one case of a possibility of something despite there being no obvious evidence, doesn't mean that that same person believes in the same for every theory ever created. If this were true, you would have to believe that all theories were true based on "evidence" produced. Let's say... the theory of Phlogiston. There was evidence to back that theory up but it turns out the interpretation of that evidence was simply wrong.
Also, you might want to remember that just because you haven't seen the evidence for what you're arguing against, doesn't mean it isn't there. It's just not been brought to light yet.
Not that I've stated my stance on the matter, I'm just pointing out the flawed logic at this point.
