I think sexualization is okay as long as it fits the character that's being sexualized, or if it's a plot device.

I think that's the difference between Miranda and Isabela.

Isabela having no pants and giant ****** works because she's an over-the-top sex beast.

Miranda... is an all-business ice queen who, although willing to use her looks to get what she wants, wants to be taken seriously.  Really weird character/design disconnect.

Thankfully, there was enough lampshade hanging (Eclipse merc/Kenneth's commentary) for me to forgive Bioware... for now.  Do it again, and they get a paddlin'.

That's an insult.

He's a dinosaur.

Turian, you're considered... too primitive.

Hmm, guess that works.

But then Wrex is a lizard.

I think you just found a partner in crime, Cheez.

Maybe.  But I actually go for the f*ck-ugly dinosaur types.

<--- I mean, look at this sexy beast.

"f*ck-ugly" guys must love you, lol.

I know, I'm the one that even posted a video about it. But the thing is that your friend will be even better in practical shoes, as will everybody else.

I agree completely.  I'm glad Bioware made that alternate appearance for Miranda.

Bioware needs to learn that sex isn't always on people's minds....

Maybe Miranda was genetically engineered to be sexy, so her shoes just have to fit her legs?

Although I always did find it funny that Isabela is one of the more difficult ones to sleep with, let alone start a romance. She is only rivaled by Fenris.

I do agree that the heels is slightly ridiculous.  I dont really have a lore problem with the catsuits as all you need would be kinetic barriers, but high heels wouldnt exactly be a bonus in combat situations

High heels?
That's why Miranda died during the suicide mission in my canon play through, I couldn't see why she died but I'm absolutely sure she slipped with her blasted improper footwear, broke both her ankles and died from bone marrow embolism off-screen.
Serves her right.

On the contrary, there is a lore problem. Kinetic barriers don't stop everything.

Yeah, they only stop fast moving objects. And when they run out...

Yes, but they run out. When Shepards shields/barriers are depleted I can believe that he can take more hits, because of his armor. When Miranda's barrier runs out, she should die from the next bullet.

When Miranda's biotic barriers are down then shes down to her kinetic barriers Image IPB

It's science fiction....there's gotta be some suspension of disbelief otherwise if there was more realism, I doubt the game would be as much fun because I'm sure there's plenty of other things that additional realism would dictate weren't possible.

Furthermore, would you rather rely on biotics (which requires constant concentration) to insulate yourself against vacuum or toxic gas, or would you rather rely on a passive system, like a hardsuit with a sealed, full-face helmet?

Kinetic barrier requires a generator that is a part of the armor. I wonder where does a generator fit in that catsuit.

Man up. Staying alive is a higher priority than being comfortable.
