I find high heels unrealistic, but not necessarily over sexualised.

The ridiculous camera angles with her latex (as opposed to proper armour, which I think all squaddies should have, like in ME1.) Is oversexualised.

Samara wears high heels though. Is she oversexualised? Not in personality perhaps, but she is in looks. Same with Miranda.

What if it has nothing to do with what NSA wrote? Not to mention, all butts, small or big look better in heels. And aparently, women wearing high heels do not feel that they make them instahoes. 

This whole heels beign oversexualised discussion is just juvenile talk of guys during puberty who pretend to be protecting women's sacred image... while women wear high heels because THEY want to.

well lets face it Samara doesn't really count because she got a body like somebody who was a porn star in the 80's and haven't really realized that was 30 years ago and gravity haven't been nice to her..

Her look comes of more like a "grandma in leotards" than anything sexy..it's a bit sad really.

That's why I want women to be cool atleast in video games! Almost every woman in real life that looks good, usually starts to dress silly. I want badass beautiful women, that sh*t on stereotypes. lol

The manner of sexualization we're talking about here I find pretty silly, and very, extremely cliche. "It was a dark and stormy night" level of cliche.  How does it make the IP more fun, exactly?  I've never understand such, yet so many good IP's use silly, sexualized cliches.

I'm happy to ignore it, but I'd be far happier if the sexualization were more subtle, and given more sentient substance.

Well good sir, if you associate high heels with bad taste and silly dressups I'm sure the whole fashion world (and by that I mean people who make trends, not supermarkets selling cheap fakes) would like to have a word with you.

High heels are something not only sexy but tasteful and pretty, provided the girl wearing them has taste and generally have higher ambitions than a lady of light virtue.

Associating high heels with stereotypes, "not coolness" and over-sexualization means you haven't seen a real woman wearing high heels.

Whatever our culture makes of high heels being high class, they are pretty silly.  Just like, well, always having to wear clothes.

I suppose Miranda might be the type who likes fashion so much she doesn't mind the pain and discomfort of high heels in combat, and is so perfect in coordination they don't hamper her. Not to mention that Omni-gel could probably heal all wounds from wearing the heels.
