I like the cryo ammo vanguard, and I tried using cryo with a soldier with claymore, but found the claymore did not fit well with using frozen guys for cover, etc like ScroguBlitzen does in his cryo vanguard thread.

Anyway I tried the Revenant the other day, and thought it would be fun to try cryo ammo on the Revenant.  Just for grins I'm trying Concussive Shot to try to shatter the frozen guys instead of using them for cover.  At the moment I only have 1 point in Concussive Shot so it does not shatter very often, hopefully that will change as it evolves.

Its a standard soldier build, Hardened ARush ( what everyone recommends for Revenant ), Commando, squad cryo ammo.  I have stasis as a bonus power but I don't use it.

Cryo Ammo on the Rev will kill high health targets faster, like Krogan and Klixen. Inferno Ammo on the Rev is still faster versus Vorcha and Merc Troopers.

Of course that's just efficiency talk, and only a small difference. Either ammo type works great on the Rev in the hands of a skilled Soldier.

 I redid Miranda's LM respec-ing to have level 3 concussive shot.  I brought Samara along so I could freeze guys, have her pull them and then use concussive shot to explode them in mid-air.  I was able to get a couple of firework shatters in mid-air in the first fight, and also some other times as well.  Its a cool effect.

Ryold you make me want to play Cryo Soldier. I am trying to put up video guides for Vindictus and you are making me want to get back to ME 2 (which I was planning to anyway) before I finish that. I might just alternate so that I can <.<

Might not record the early videos though because my Insanity Soldier run has the Widow, so I'd need to get to the DCS before I can do Cryo Revenant. We can share results and have our "You better not do this as it's like putting ketch up in pasta" conversations again, what do you think?

Tali LM  Concussive Shot at level 3 still does not do a great deal of damage.  It took about 6 shots to get that Geth Prime at the end of the mission.  Also, AI hacking confused me sometimes.
I'm looking forward to more fun with level 4 concussive shot.  I tried it on Zaeed's LM and recorded just a few snips from the opening fight.

why do you shoot mercs into clouds? that's just wrong, at least the cloud didn't do anything bad.

Baria Frontiers - used Jack for pull.  Had some fun with that last part - seemed they would spawn forever.

Azure Parking Lot - this part is a lot harder since I don't have anyone with overload.  But I was able to launch some mercs into the upper deck!

Question: Are you evolving Concussive Shot to Heavy Concussive Shot or Concussive Blast?

The concussive shot does only about 100 points damage, and I know there is a bonus vs barriers, but even against Vasir it did almost nothing. I use it for effect  I recorded Vasir fight last night, will upload today.

Reaper IFF  No Cain.  Used CaolIla's team of Samara and Mordin.   Lots of running around and I forgot to shoot at the core, it was fun now that its over, but not when you are fighting off all the husks.

What squadmates do you will choose for SM?

Thanks,. Well, Jack for sure because I use her pull all the time for effects, pair her with Samara or Miranda or Thane. I like Legion on the terminator part. Hopefully will get some good effects because there is a lot of space on the SM.

I think Samara would be an excellent choice if you give her Heavy Throw. Cryo Shatters everywhere.

Lots of fun shattering collectors, there is also a glitch where Harby possesses a collector that Jack pulled and he never gets up to do anything - but still talks smack.

Terminator Part - my bad, the part after the bubble is in this video also.

Sometimes you just can't believe bad luck.

I did not like my SM bubble run with the Husks and Scions too much.  I selected the run with Jack because I liked her shockwave effect.  So, I stuck together some runs of that part using different squad mates.  In the suicide mission you can save your game just before you press the eighth valve.  So I tried these combinations:

Mordin and Jack
Mordin and Samara ( my squad from the reaper iff )
Mordin and Grunt
Thane and Zaeed.

I had my best success when I took out the Scion asap.

Its only the Scion/husk fight so the whole video is only six minutes.
