I didnt liked the dialogue wheel in da2 because of the limited choices it gave us.The diplomatic, sarcastic and the agressive, choices where all a bit over the top. when somebody asked your hawke how his day was and you would pick the agressive choice hawke would probably say you are spying me, i am going to kill you.IMO in da3 they should do it like the dao style with voice. It would give you more choices without labeling bad or good and most of your answers would be normal.
here is my old poll:

and here is the new poll:

Hate the ME dialog wheel. IMO, it's one of the biggest mistakes made by Bioware when it comes to approaching dialog. And about 10 steps backwards from what they had.

I didn't mind it , I just had to learn which responses came closest to what I wanted to say, which took playing the scene over a few times... thank the Maker for quick saves!

I don't like it, especially compared to what it was. I didn't mind it in mass effect because its what was used from the beginning. In DA2 it felt like a pointless change made for the hell of it.

No - Bioware, refer to every point made against it before.

Stylistically it is a futuristic, technological device. It therefore right from the start does not suit a medieval fantasy world. Beyond that it is retarded compared to a range of complete dialogue options, and pretending it has any benefit beyond making the game designer's job easier is a fallacy.

Well besides that DA isnt ME, the ME wheel has nothing to do in DA. They tried to change it a little by adding those symbols and now every choice you make is funny, diplomatic, agressive i dont like that they lable it like that.It should better be without labels or dao style with voice

I liked it in ME. I found it unnecessary/less enjoyable in DA2.

Didn't mind it in ME, I just found it annoying in DA2 since we were also forced to become "diplomatic" "sarcastic" or "aggressive" plus those stupid icons. I'll take an ME good-neutral-bad system any day.

I like the ME wheel but only in ME, in DA2 it was ok but you only get like 3 kinds of behavior, they should return to DAO wich had at least 8 options and all was slightley different

No, Bioware needs to steal the Human Revolution dialogue wheel.

I didn't like it. I think it's far worse than the classic dialogue system.

I somewhat tolerate it in ME (since the interactive movie works well with the franchise). But I feel that imposes unnecessary limits to the rpg experience in DA.

What I do not understand, and noone has been able to explain me, is the reason of the no implementation of hybrid system (like the one in Deus Ex human rev.)

Do I like the wheel? lol, -No!

Though I'm not so sure it's exactly the wheel, or the voice and design of the dialogue, deviced to surprise and delight,.. teenagers?

P.S. To clarify: I do not like to be surprised by *my own* dialogue, nor am I particularly happy about an alien voice.

I despised the dialogue wheel, made me come off as an ass when i wanted to jokingly tease. Or other times i came off way too extreme. Like the end of "The First Sacrifice" for example.

Emeric: "Looks like she's dead" (he said something like that i forget)
*chooses sarcastic option labeled "Keep a look out for them"*
Hawke: "Well just to be sure keep a look out for some flopping boneless women in the street"
Emeric: "Have some respect for the dead!"

I believe i face palmed at this.

Well actually i feel thats a bad example because when when you make a joke about anything that serious, such as a dead person who just died or something, your gonna get scolded for disrepect.

That was not his point.
He facepalmed at what Hawke said not at Emeric's response.

While I wouldn't advocate simply lifting the entire system and placing into ME or DA, though I did like the conversation system and the dialogue wheel in Deus Ex. Although I didn't like the dialogue wheel in DA2, it just felt lifted from ME, bad choice really.

Not a very well-designed poll.  I don't want either of the options provided.

Yeah. There should be a third "DAO Style with unvoiced protagonist" option.
But if VP is inevitable (and it looks like it is) then at least I want DAO's full text diaogue style back. I want to know what my char is going to say. No more guessing  games.

I hate the idea of it as it stands, though I wasn't bothered by what Hawke said because almost all the time it was something I would've said in those situations.

I'd much rather have a list with tones to the side that the protagonist then says, or at the very least have the full phrase appear at the top of the screen when the player hovers over the paraphrase.

Also, paraphrases should be closer to what the actual line is.
