When i try to run the game, the screen goes black, the cursor turns into a circle and nothing else happens.
Ctrl+Alt+Canc is the only way to get rid of the black screen and deskotop resolution has been lowered to 1024x758 insted my usual 1680x1050.
I'm launching the game as administrator, Win XP compatibility mode and i have turned Aero functions off.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

1024x768* my bad.
Dx9 installed, the game run once, then .... black screen as usual.
At least, it doesn't change resolution anymore...-.-
Checked and reinstalled the .net 64 too.

Many recent games, and NWN2 isn't exactly "old" yet, get confused when you apply 4:3 screen settings to 16:9 / 16:10 wide screen displays. I don't have a wide screen display, didn't want one, other than on TVs, so I can't tell you what "Low Resolution" for a wide screen really is, but I can tell you that it is not "1024 by 768" ~ ~ that is a 4:3 screen resolution.
