For a fictional weapon...I wouldn't mind having a Fallout Power Fist...look like they could be fun in a fight.

Okay so it's a parody of a light saber in the No More Heroes universe..... but it's still pretty cool. Especially the Tsubaki Mk III, Blood Berry, and Rose Nasty (the dual beam katanas).

Ehh its okay weighs too much though and loud as ****. Recoil is manageable. Still not something you'll ever carry, Not without two people helping you, hence why its mounted on tanks lol.

You have Break Action single shots, which are crap imo and can be found in any old mans house. Then you have Bolt Action, hard to find, I own one with a detachable 5 round mag. Then you have Americas Love affiar the Pump Action, which varry in length, capacity and capability. But ****** poor reload times. Then you have the tube feed semi's which vary in quality, still same reload issues as a pump.

Then you have the new age Semi Autos, Such as the Enlarge AK Saiga's which come with ten round mags, or 30 round drums. Its a Semi so shoots as fast as you can pull, reload is a snap, fun gun. And you have the AA-12 Which  is a damn monster,

Saddly it has no real buyers, the US Military wants to stick with the pump guns. So short of a few class three buyers you'll not see that monster any time soon. So yeah Shotguns are not all the same.

It can be used to aid you to walk, climb and beat people over the head with. Great defensive weapon and can be adapted for all manor of jobs.

This has been added to my zombie apocalypse shopping list.

I'd favour a good old fashioned bastard sword that I can switch between one handed and two handed grip depending on the situation. Like if Nicholas Cage is trying to steal my fruit Mentos? I'd use a one handed grip and break his jaw with the pommel. No mentos for you Cage! If some sort of crazed immortal kept annoying me claiming there can be only one and trying to remove my head from its resting place on my neck? Then I'd take a two handed grip and lop his head off to teach him a lesson.

That or a lightsaber, but I'm not getting into its many uses for defending fruit flavoured candy and protecting the galaxy from evil men who used to have space mullets but are now kind of like robots with asthma.

My pick: The FN-FAL in 7.62x51
The FN-FAL is IMO (Still) the best combat weapon that can be carried and operated by one man. From a technical standpoint its simplicity, reliability, soldier-friendliness, ruggedness and sheer power still hasn't been surpassed by any other weapon system, it simply doesn't have any drawbacks.

And I know what I'm talking about, I own several firearms and I've had the honor to shoot the FN-FAL several times on military fairs. It outclasses every other weapon I've ever touched by quite a margin.  



Apocalypse? End of the world? Zombie or Alien invasion? A FN-FAL please.

9mm pistol. Preferably plastic because of jamming. Easy to conceal. Easy to maintain. 16 shots excluding a round in the chamber. Effective at mid to close range. Recoil isn't a problem after getting a feel for it. It's a very personal weapon.

Damn I sound like Zaeed. Don't know if that's good or bad.

I also like some polearms, most notably the Naginata.

As for meele weapon I'd take the good old fire-axe, you can pretty much kill, smash, break open and cut everything you want with it in a very stylish way - if you're strong enough to wield it quickly and efficiently.

Depends on the game, I guess.

In shooters, I prefer sniper rifles and shotguns (if they load quickly). Otherwise, I'm becoming a BIG fan of the sentry bot in RAGE. Those little cuties are lethal. 



I just about died when I saw one jump on an enemy's face for the first time. 

Otherwise, I like ranged weapons (bows) and pole arms.

The RPK has helped me through some hectic times on Bad Company 2: Vietnam.
