Raw meat

Hmmm, so the idea of finding Gray's anatomy pics and using them for the flayed flesh of my demonic altar didn't work so well... Not enough resolution, not mapping well at all :-(
Anyone have some suggestions for a good "raw meat" texture I can use? Preferably in game or on the vault? Especially a horrible face...
Has someone already flayed some models?

That's moving in the right direction.
But I'm really hoping someone has something more defined.
Look at what I'm working with now tell me if you know of anything similar...
I'd rather not have to paint an entirely new texture if I can avoid it. Want to concentrate on modeling :-)

Whoa! That's really <neat!> er, effective! Don't listen to the crow <raven>. She eats snails. <and?>Zwerkules wrote...
If you can't find the texture you need and are going to paint one yourself, consider mixing textures that actually have nothing to do with raw meat. I experimented with cheese, tomatoes and meat and got a really gross texture:

On my way, thanks :-)_six wrote...
Check out the hak for the small CODI mod Guess Who's Coming To Dinner. It has a custom tilegroup with some rather deliciously nasty fleshy textures, including one for a thin flap of transparent skin over an opening.
Edit 30 mins later: LOL! ROFLMAO! That was great :-) Thank you, _six =)
Some good fleshy textures there. I especially like the hard specular, the "wet" look of the tentacles.
